Regenta Place Amritsar

I had a great experience at Regenta Place Amritsar. The staff was courteous, check-in smooth, housekeeping efficient, and restaurant service excellent. The food was impressive, and overall hospitality was commendable. A quicker response to room service and more personalized front desk interactions could further enhance the experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

We organized a wedding event (Groom’s side) at Regenta Place, Amritsar, from the 13th to the 17th Feb, which included stays in 40 rooms and ceremonies like Sagan, Mehendi, Haldi, and Ghadoli. Everything was managed seamlessly, and we had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff was incredibly supportive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the decorations were beautifully done, and the venue was spacious—perfect for hosting such an important occasion. A special thanks to **Satyadher Dubey, Bhola Ji, and the General Manager**, who went above and beyond to assist us, even in the late hours past midnight. Their dedication and commitment made our celebrations truly memorable. Highly recommend Regenta Place, Amritsar, for any grand event or wedding function!

We checked in late in the evening. I had booked for 2 adults and 2 children. The suite we were given was set up for 2 adults so a rollaway bed was setup. The duvet for this was damp though and despite 3 phone calls to reception, no progress was made in getting a replacement. Finally after visiting the front desk in person a replacement was provided. In addition to this, we noticed that the suite provided was old, tired and in disrepair, particularly the bathroom. Certainly nothing like the pictures we saw on the booking portal. In the morning we quickly realised that there are two sides to this hotel: the rooms on floors 2 and 3 are old and in need of urgent renovation, the rest of the hotel is up to date as reflected in the review photos. We got a load of laundry done during our stay which was processed quickly and efficiently however on check out the hotel failed to produce an invoice/bill for this and expected payment despite this, this was resolved albeit in a delayed manner but ***** with the above does influence the review of our stay. We were able to get transferred to a room on the 1st floor which was lovely and in keeping with wha we expected. From this point onward our experience was far better, comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast is basic but in keeping with a 3-4 star hotel in India. For experienced travellers like us, 4 star here is not equivalent of the same rated hotels in Europe or the Middle East but this is not a slur on the regenta in particular, more an observation of hotels in India in general. The single biggest point for those booking at this hotel is to ensure that they get a room on level 1 or 4 only. For the hotel, they need to renovate levels 2 and 3 urgently to avoid more reviews like this. Of note, we had a great level of service from Akshay Kumar at our room when we requested additional items (hairdryer, extra blankets etc).

The hotel was fine and well equipped but cold. The restaurant was cold too so we only ate there once. Once we asked we were given a fan heater and the staff were helpful and friendly.Overall the location of the hotel isn’t great, it’s between a very busy main road and the railway sidings so there was a constant noise of trains moving and hooting all night. The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Nothing really wrong except the location

We have done the our engagement party at regenta place amritsar. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Starter and main course all was fabulous and amazing. Mr dubey and mr bhola ji specially thanks. Mr Ajay excellent customer service at banquet.
