"This hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are cottages which are very clean and spacious. The staff are warm welcomimh and ever ready to serve you. We were attended to by Lashika and he was our wonderful butler who was pleasant and attentive. There was so much food from the welcome drinks and snacks to dinner and the food was absolutely authentic and delicious. We had a great stay and experience here."

"Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception, and we had to call the hotel to begin the check-in process. A few staff members arrived later, but the initial lack of assistance left a poor first impression. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and barely connected throughout our stay. The restaurant was completely closed, so we had to go outside the property whenever we wanted food. There were also no clear instructions about the hotel's policies or amenities. Because of this, we were unexpectedly charged for water bottles we requested to our room, even though the hotel provides 1 liter of complimentary water per room per day. Better communication would have avoided this confusion. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. It was dirty, had a strong unpleasant smell, with visible algae and mosquitoes around it. After getting into the pool, I developed a skin rash, which was very concerning. The property itself has a lot of potential and looks beautiful, but it is clearly not being maintained well. With better maintenance, clearer communication, and improved guest services, it could offer a much better experience."

"Myself and my partner had the best stay at De Pearla resort. Farah the host was the best. He cooked us the most amazing meals, helped us with anything we needed assistance with and made our trip so special. He even showed us how to cook biriyani! My girlfriend became ill with a fever on one of the days and Farah went above and beyond to make sure that we were all ok and looked after. It really felt like we became part of the family. His son was also very helpful and kind to us. De Perla is a tranquil slice of Paradise that felt like a home away from home. It was always so amazing to come back to after a long day surfing and the craziness of Arugam Bay. We hope that we come back here again one day. Thank you Farah. We hope we meet again!"

"I stayed 3 nights at Paper Moon Kudils, and it was a wonderful beach escape. The cabanas are clean, cozy, and just a few steps from Whisky Point Beach perfect for sunrise views and relaxing vibes. The staff were very friendly and helped arrange a boat safari at Pottuvil Lagoon, which was an unforgettable experience with crocodiles, elephants, and beautiful birds. The food was fresh and tasty, especially the seafood, and the pool facing the ocean was a great place to unwind. A perfect spot for anyone who loves peace, nature, and simplicity. Highly recommended! 🌴✨"

"Vaikka se on juuri Arugamin Bayn ulkopuolella, tämä on pieni paratiisi. Henkilökunta on uskomattoman ystävällinen, ruoka herkullinen ja keittiö mahdollistaa joustavuuden valinnan. Vaikka on uima-allas, meri on kiviheitto pois ja uima-allas, kehon laivasto ja surffa oli hämmästyttävä. Huoneet olivat kauniit kauniin ulkona suihku. "Absolutely stunning, private, peaceful and relaxing. Our whole stay at Blue Water was perfect, the cabanas are cute, clean and spacious for couples. We couldn’t fault anything. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the team decorated our room, what a lovely surprise on entry. Although there is no air conditioning, the fans in the room are sufficient and the cabanas are designed well with openings for a breeze. Rinos is amazing, he was so attentive and looked after all of our needs. He’s really friendly, a pleasure to meet and an excellent chef. Sudha and Dinosan are both phenomenal, they make sure the whole area around the cabanas are pristine, they take so much pride and leave patterns in the sand for guests. There is a good variety of food, the fresh juices are so tasty. We had breakfast and dinner most days and Rinos catered for our tastes. The beach is private and only a few steps away, most days we were the only ones there, it is paradise. At night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Thank you Blue Water you made our stay unforgettable."

Wild Edge Panama - Kumana Safari Lodge ★★
"I stayed at Wild Edge Panama Kumana Safari Lodge for four nights in July 2026 and had a wonderful time. It’s set in a quiet rural area in Panama within a 40 minute drive to the entrance to Kumana National Park. The rooms are very clean with comfortable double bed and mosquito netting, aircon and fan and plenty of storage and plug sockets. There is a terrace to each bedroom with outdoor seating. The en suite bathroom had an excellent shower and all the modern amenities and plumbing and toiletries. There is a stylish main entrance/reception and communal dining area and the lodge is surrounded by small ponds/water features. The beach is a short walk over the sand dunes and is clean and quiet. The local bird life is excellent. There is fast wi-fi throughout the property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Samitha and his wife own the lodge and live adjacent and were kind and generous hosts. Samitha is an expert wildlife photographer/videographer and I had the privilege of several all day safaris in Kumana National Park with him. He is extremely knowledgable and has a real passion for the flora and fauna. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge and hope to return again."

"Pretty boutique hotel in east coast. We've stayed 2 nights in the Garden Bungalow with plunge pool, rooms are nice and chill. The hotel situated in a village facing the ocean, where the surroundings are very rural and quite. Feb is not a busy season there, no disturb at all, and get the chance for stargaze in the night. 20min drive to Arugambay Town, as we go for self drive so no probs at all. Food is fairly ok since we only had breakfast. Did our Kumana National Park Safari during our stay. Didn't spend much time for beach though."
