The lodge is very authentic and the direct view on the Kilimanjaro is outstanding. The elephants, giraffes, zebras… are coming in front of the lodge. It was really a memorable experience

Found the rooms large and very comfortable. Gladys were very helpful and friendly!!! Went on a game drive to see specific elephant bulls - had Tom as my guide. He clearly understands photography, light and can read the bulls. Would def recommend him if you serious about photography!

Amazing staff and accommodations. Their watering hole is a great place to view elephants. Food is delicious. We chose the all inclusive deluxe package. Game drives in the conservancy where we saw cheetahs and lions and Amboseli where we saw the infamous herds of elephants. Make sure you communicate with the staff ahead of time about your schedule, so there’s no confusion of services included. Moses and Gabriel were amazing guides and a wonderful nature walk and Sundowner with a local Masai man and Conservancy Warden. Hope to be back.

Wonderful stay at Tawi. The lodge is gorgeous and well positioned in a beautiful conservancy. The food was excellent and very well prepared. Staff were wonderful and helpful. We had excellent game drives in the reserve and the conservancy ( conservancy was where we saw the big Tucker Craig, two cheetahs, and a pride of lions)! We had a lovely nature walk followed by simple sun downers. Excellent stay. For those booking drives through the camp, we’d just recommend clarifying the schedule at check-in to ensure everyone’s on the same page. Guides Moses and Gabriel were amazing. Alphonse and Gladys were always available with suggestions and helped resolve some miscommunications. Thanks Tawi! We loved it!

What to say as we come to the end of our stay here, 4 nights and days we will never forget. It’s hard to quantify what is so good about Tawi Lodge. Firstly the private conservancy and the close proximity to Amboselli National Park. The game drives morning and evening have been nothing short of spectacular. Our guide was a young lady named Emanuella who was a wealth of information on the wildlife of the Park, her and the driver made sure we saw everything we could and got us as close to the animals without intruding on them. We found out today that she is not one of their regular guides but her knowledge and experience did not show that in any shape or form. Our only suggestion is a slightly bigger voice to allow for the noise of the vehicle on the rough park tracks. The in house staff, Firstly Gladys the guest experience person, what a wonderful job she does, nothing is too much trouble and she makes you feel a valued and wanted guest. The kitchen staff produce the most amazing meals 3 times a day which are expertly served by Jane,Boniface and Samuel. The room was immaculately serviced every day by Jackson with a smile and a hello. The room was large comfortable and had a spacious bathroom with views from both the bath and shower into the bush, watching Zebra and Elephants while relaxing in the bath was wonderful. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and today we spent the morning under the shade of a tree watching numerous elephants enjoying the water hole just metres away with the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro away in the distance . The same spot around the fire pit in the evening is a great spot to sit with a drink and mingle and chat with fellow guests. There is also a great abundance of bird life around the property and the little family of Mongoose playing by the swimming pool were enchanting to watch along with the resident monkeys around the property.

Staff was so friendly and professional; small boutique hotel vibe. As soon as we arrived we had a welcome drink by the watering hole and saw Craig the elephant! Great room with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Loved the low-key yet luxe vibe. All meals were excellent. I would love to return someday!
