Le Pavillon des Lys - Hôtel Particulier

Spotlessly clean, this is a comfy, friendly hotel. With a very good breakfast. (Only warning is the stairs to the second floor are pretty steep!) Easy (free) parking, nice outside space to sit and have a drink, and very close to the centre of town.

I consider the rooms 3 star quality. Our room was large but the others were small and decor is plain. Bathrooms are ok, cloth shower curtain to the floor, good water pressure in shower. Breakfast was ok--boiled eggs, cheese, croissants, packaged yogurt. Can't beat the location for Amboise, can walk everywhere. There is plenty of parking. Reception was helpful, good recommendations for restaurants and helped us find a pharmacy. Quiet location with a small garden with seating.

L’emplacement et le parking surveillé justifie le prix. Chambre en rez de jardin de petite taille, mais silencieuse. Accueil parfait. Et surtout à deux pas du château. Si vous voulez une chambre plus grande choisir celles à l’étage., mais celle en rés de jardin sont pratiques et ont une terrasse fleurie

I am going to rate room 16. I selected it from the pictures wrongly assuming that it had access to the courtyard AND ANOTHER DOOR TO THE MAIN BUILDING which takes away from the experience. This bedroom is at best three stars (not 4) and does not compare to the bedrooms inside the main building. Smells bad, They have an issue with humidity. No windows, the sources of natural light are a glass access door and a skylight that they opened in the ceiling probably because they needed it for code. I would recommend you to stay away from this room. It looks a lot better in their photo.

En passant en voiture devant ce magnifique hôtel particulier, nous avons décidé de téléphoner pour plus de renseignements: Accueil téléphonique et physique très courtois , nous avons visité deux chambres avant décision ( nous sommes hors saison) chambre extérieur très confortable décorée avec goût , excellente literie, salle de bain parfaite. Petit déjeuner 20/20. Cadre, Nappage, vaisselle, produits de qualité À proximité des restaurants, à deux du château, château clos Luce, château Gaillard Parking sécurisé Les propriétaires très sympathiques Nous reviendrons

Voila un établissement qui ne manque , ni de charmes, ni de désintérêt. En effet, belle emplacement dans la ville d'Amboise, belle maison de type Tourangelle, un parking (non payant) bien pratique. Une literie de bonne facture, un petit déjeuner complet et roboratif. Un personnel au petit soin. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.
