I recently stayed here and enjoyed the host’s warm welcome and the sunsets over the sea, but I’d caution future guests about a few key points: Location photos are misleading. The pictures make it seem like you’re steps from Via Lorenzo de Amalfi, but in reality it’s a 5–8 minute downhill walk into town. Parking is off-site and costly (€40/night). There’s no on-site garage—parking is with a third party about a three-minute walk away, for €40 per night. This fee only appears at the final booking stage and isn’t included in the advertised rate. Prepare for a steep staircase (~100 steps). The listing mentions “several staircases,” but you won’t appreciate how many until you haul luggage up roughly one hundred uneven stone steps. Not ideal if you’re older or travelling heavy. Rooms are pleasant but not worth the price. The beds were comfortable and the decor was neat, yet the cost here felt too high for what you actually get. In fact, our friends found a nearby B&B that was cheaper, closer to the centre, and even nicer. Unreliable Wi-Fi. The signal dropped several times during our stay, which was frustrating if you need to check emails or stream. Suggestions for Improvement Show a map or wide-angle shot to illustrate the real distance from the main street. Disclose the parking arrangement and fee clearly in the “Facilities” section. State the exact number of steps in the overview. Check and boost the Wi-Fi signal throughout the property.
