Premier Inn Alnwick

Just had two night in this premier inn having been in Scarborough and Newcastle gate On a trip up the north coast this week and can honestly say had a great time all hotel staff very professional and very friendly having eat in Alnwick on the Friday night couldn’t help but notice how short staffed in the restaurant and Bar and waitressing the place was but the girls were all very nice and run round like blue arsed fly to keep all the customers happy. , food and service was amazing but come on whitbread shame on you they were so over worked. One girl was serving behind the Bar, waitressing and collecting pots and washing them , only one girl in the kitchen , you have great staff just seems like you over work them come on look after your staff

The hotel itself is very modern. The family room we booked was comfortable. The staff were brilliant - nothing was too much for them. Due to being unable to bring our child’s own cot due to travelling over 4 hours to Alnwick, we booked a cot for the night for our visit. However upon arrival this had no mattress(so we had to improvise) and the overall state of the cot was poor - not great🙁 just to bear in mind if travelling with younger children.

The staff were extremely polite and friendly and very welcoming. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the room was large, well equipped and very quiet. If you want a great base for exploring the area, you won’t go wrong booking this hotel.

Overall a good stay, room a great size with everything you might need , comfortable bed but pillows could be better. Buffet breakfast had the usual Premier Inn offering both hot and cold. The Danish pastries were excellent. All staff were nice.

Lovely staff on reception - very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spotless with everything you need. Bar open 24 hours and really tasty breakfast in the morning. Brilliant value for money for a warm bed for the night and tasty breakfast. No complaints at all!

Love the room size, spacious, soft relaxing lighting, free parking and the bath within the room those tiny wetrooms some hotels do! It's the little things that would certainly keep me enquiring premier inn rates over other hotels in the same nightly rate range. Pillows were great too!
