Nice and modern Helpful friendly staff and nice hotel. Situated about 20 minutes from down town but close to local shops. Helpful transfer service offered by the hotel. Front office staff speak English

Lovely hotel I used the hotel on a business trip. The building was new and cleanliness was felt throughout. The location is good, there is a ski jump right behind the hotel and you can see beautiful mountains. Esentai Mall is also within walking distance, which is good for shopping. The rooms are reasonably spacious, clean, and relaxing. The shower rooms and toilets are clean and I never felt uncomfortable with the dirtiness. The hotel front desk is friendly and accommodating in English. I could not communicate in English at the hotel restaurant, but the front desk staff helped me and I was able to enjoy a good meal. All the staff were friendly and really helpful. When I left the hotel, I experienced hospitality similar to that in Japan. I would like to use this hotel again when I visit Almaty.

I stayed in the Sadu Hotel Almaty to attend a conference hosted by nearby Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. A number of the international delegates were based at the Sadu Hotel, which has recently joined the Radisson Group according to staff at reception. The hotel staff at reception are welcoming and multilingual. The rooms were large and comfortable, with most the usual amenities. There was no iron or ironing board, but one appeared quickly when I called reception. My biggest gripe was the AC. The instructions were completely incomprehensible, even when I used Google to translate all the Russian text to English, and the hotel staff had no idea how to turn it on. As a result, the room temperature was too hot in the day and cold at night. The bar and restaurant would not allow guests to charge bills to their rooms, which was fiddly. There was QR code on the table to order, but instead of going through the kitchen, you had to show your order to the waiter on your phone, they changed the language to Russian, and then went off to place your order. It was an amusingly pointless use of technology - a paper menu with pictures would have been much quicker - but it got the job done. The meals were pricey though - £25-30 for a main plus a drink. The hotel is in a development area with nothing much around it. There is a very upscale mall about 15-20 minutes' walk away. Most of the stores sell designer clothes that cost more than my car. There is a supermarket in the basement, which seemed to stock implausibly expensive imported food items, but had a few basics like Diet Coke. As a business hotel, it works fine. The wifi was fast, the service good and I enjoyed my stay. There is a Russian-style sauna in the basement for guests, which would probably be fun, but unfortunately I didn't get time to try it.

This hotel is not for grps. Specially not for M.I.C.E grps. Though the standard check in time is 2 pm. But we didn’t get room till mid night . And at midnight , out of 32 Rooms , approx 10 Rooms were not cleaned. And keys were handed over . Almaty is good destination but not for big groups.

This modern hotel is located within the Sadu sports and ski-jumping complex. The room was pleasant and mountain views splendid. Hotel has spa and outdoor pool, (only open during day time hence of no value to business traveller), but unfortunately no gym. The onsite restaurant serves good breakfast and a variety of local and international dishes.

Отвратительно! Бедненький интерьер. Жара в комнатах с неработающим кондиционером. Деревянные подушки. Напор воды вечером тонкой струйкой. Отсутствует шумоизляция. Завтраки никакие. Грязный кавролин в коридорах. На завтраке поставили резерв 90% ресторана , но там никого не было… остальные посетители толпились за оставшимися стоиками с грязной посудой от предыдущих посетителей. И это по цене 4*???!!!!!!! Много понтов- качество НОЛЬ

When Musafir booked this property I was having real doubts bcoz I have read so many reviews. But the property really surprised me. The location of this hotel can be little inconvenient as it’s outside the city area. But this is very quiet and very good for people who wants to be away from the city hussle and bussle. Rooms are very comfortable and big. And amenities inside the room is really good. But washrooms doesn’t have door. This can be inconvenient for friends or family staying. In winter they don’t turn on the AC bcoz of it rooms get really hot and zero ventilation. Staffs are nice but they really needs to learn how to handle customers. This can be due to language. People will feel they are rude. Breakfast was really good. They have a lot of variety. Over all I had a real good time.

This hotel is with the wide range advantages. First of all location near the mountains, in the center of the city ,in front of of luxury mall Essentqi mall. Outstanding service with polite staff, a delightful breakfast experience, and impeccably clean rooms, all complemented by a showcase of national cooking traditions. I live in KZ, but never have seen at the hotel the option with the national kitchen, seriously amazing! The chiefs cooking is really like homemade! Recommend it at all!
