"Clean and well kept rooms and property. Lovely common areas. Great, substantial breakfast. Booking dinner was not a problem, and we are so glad we did twice! Well worth the fixed 32E including wine. Loved the Crème Brulee dessert so much, we asked ahead of time for a repeat on our second dinner. Would recommend…great value."

"Lamego is a charming town surrounded by history, monuments and sublime cuisine. A breakfast routine with Zilda involves selecting the days events, and we found her predictions to be spot on. Plus practical advice about itineraries with hints on where to park a car for free! And while talking about breakfast, Zilda prepares a feast full of variety and tasty temptations. But her homemade orange marmalade is sensational. An ancient architectural gem has been beautifully remodelled to contemporary standards and style, this wonderful place is centrally located and easy to access by road and foot."

"A small hotel right in the center of Lamego. Close to everything there is to see in the city and all the gastronomic options the region has to offer. Comfortable rooms, offering facilities for making coffee and tea. Comfortable beds. The hotel has an outdoor pool (which we didn't try) and an indoor pool, part of the SPA concept. A good option to relax in the late afternoon. Breakfast with plenty of variety and, as the dining room (and restaurant) is on the top floor of the hotel, provides a view over the entire city."
