The boat condition was not as shown in the picture. The food and the staff was really nice. Tv was not working

First off, the booking was done for alleppey ride but they sent us kumarakkom location for boarding where there is not a lot of sites to visit. Ride time mentioned by them is 4 hours in the day and 1 hour the next morning but they took us 3 hours and 30 minutes in total. The food served is not the same as what is mentioned in the menu for evening snacks, dinner and breakfast. The on-call service was good. Service boys were polite.

Travel-led on 27th dc this year. 1. Poor food timing. 2. Staffs won’t answer our questions. 3. Driver gave different location to board than what was given on ticket. Dropped in another location. We paid to come back to boarded location. Looks they misused the plan. 4. Night cruise plan is useless. No cursing in the evening. We simply stayed in the boat. Morning they dropped in different location. 5. Poor quality food and quantity is poor. They gave just 1 cut pineapple for 4 families. Only limited quantities. 6. Old boat and unhygienic. Poor cleaning and house keeping.

Old boats, staffs are good but food is not that great. No proper guide from staff. Less backwater experience

Average food good hygiene and good people

1) the upkeep was really bad; bedroom doors don't have aldrops & tower bolts thus unable to close properly from inside. 2) rest room walls were found opened up to route cables, etc. Thus compromising personal privacy inside rest room. 3) cocroches were found inside rest room. 4) food quality was bad and not tasty at all. 5) airconditioning was good & comfortable. 6) crew were good except the one who cooked who was, it appears, inexperienced. 7) while sailing electric invert-er was not working forcing us to manage without fan during a sultry climate. 8) tv. & cable connection were found not working & hence unable to watch any programme. 9) crew were not found staying in the house boat when the boat was parked thus leaving gusts to possible security breah. 10) available music system was not in worki g condition/ not operated. 11) the boarding point was for away from the one indicated by make-my trip.

Hello, the experience was ok, we got the room on the upper deck which was the only good part about the houseboat. The lunch was decent. Dinner was below expectations and not much was there. We were being told that the breakfast will be served at 8am n then shikara ride will be there. But breakfast was served around 8. 45 am and then nothing, straight to checkout. Hence, spending was not at all worth it.
