A day and night aboard a houseboat is an absolute must and Xandari are perfect. We had a boat to ourselves and the crew of 3 looked after us like royalty. Don't think of looking elsewhere - Xandari really are very good indeed. The boat itself is spotless, the bedroom spacious and airconditioned, and the engine very quiet so you get the feeling of gliding over the water. Wonderful.

The experience was very enjoyable. Food was authentic and the most delicious we have had in kerala. The staff was very polite and helpful. We loved it here. The stay and amenities were comfortable. Ambience was cool. We would like to visit again. I would advise you to carry mosquito repellant for the trip.

The experience was wonderful. We were taken care of very well and had a sumptuous lunch and tea prepared for us . The staff Sujeet, Prince and Sony attended to us and whipped a fantastic meal. The boat was very steady and it was a joyous experience

I Am highly recommend xandari house boats The staff was great very helpful and answered all our questions. The room was clean and bright, and the room service was always on time. Will be coming back! Thank you so much. Good food, friendly staffs overall we had a wonderful experience

One or two nights, that is the question? We picked one night option and it was fantastic. It’s really a must when visiting Kerala. Peaceful and tranquil for us but I think it can get busy in the high season. The staff on board were lovely and we had our own private chef who produced delicious fare. We did buy some langoustines,at extra cost,from a local fish monger which was also cooked expertly by our chef. I would thoroughly recommend these guys every time.

An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. A lovely boat to ourselves (upgraded to three bedroom boat (Pallanayar) for the three of us !), food was exceptional, as was the time taken to explain dishes and recipes. Captain Shibu, Jobyjose and Chef Mahesh were amazing hosts. Definitely recommend Xandari to anyone wanting an idyllic river cruise around the backwaters

We had so much fun and the crew was so friendly, helpful and nice. I will recommend to all my family and friends. They went beyond by getting up at 3am to make coffee because we were jet lagged and was getting up at Australian time. That was very nice of them.
