VIVA Sunrise

Viva Sunrise 4*....What a lovely hotel. We stayed here in October for 7 nights with our young family. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at reception. They give you chipped wristbands so there is no room cards which was perfect. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool towels were provided and you could change these on a Tuesday or Sat morning. A cot was provided for our baby and our other 2 kids slept on a sofa bed and pull out single bed. The master double bed was comfortable also. The room had other amenities such as a kettle, fridge and Microwave. The room balcony was a safe space and had great views over the pools. The kids splash pool was great however at this time of year the water was cold. The middle pool was said to be heated but was only ever look warm. The large pool with the bouncy ball was also cold at this time of year. No floaties/inflatables were allowed in any of the pools. Lifeguards were present at all times when the pools were open. Plenty of sun loungers available. Food was plentiful and lovely. I did feel however the kids meal selections were very limited especially for our baby who was 14 months old. The sports bar food menu was excellent and meals came in large portions both for adults and kids choices. Soft drinks and Alcoholic drinks particularly the cocktails were on point. You could use the QR code to order these. The addition of the Orange drinks truck was great as you didn't have to venture far to get a drink. The animation team were friendly and the kids really enjoyed the kids disco which was on every evening at 8pm. Our kids did not use the kids club but it is an option here. There is a kids play area, football pitch, swings, slide and small bouncy castle. The night entertainment was always good, singers, dancers, magician and the animation team tookover some nights, with something a little different involving the guests. The hotel is maximum 10minutes walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel has an onsite shop and a Spar shop located right next door. All staff were lovely and friendly, always making the effort to speak to our children. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend. Tip: mosquito spray is needed to keep the bites at bay.

Family Holiday was great for Halloween, Area quite around the hotel because of end of season. However Hotel had loads of entertainment on right until the last day. 10/10 for the hotel effort for the Halloween decorations. Heated pool in October was helped a lot. Recruitment level of staff must be top level as every member of staff played their part. Good layout of hotel with pool stage and sports bar. Food excellent. Probably best hotel I’ve ever been to and Carnt wait to return.

Hotel increíble: Todo súper organizado con plan a y b por si el tiempo no acompaña. Gran organización, personal muy atento, animación inmejorable. Habitaciones grandes, bien cuidadas y limpias. Comida buenísima. ¡Sin duda el año que viene repetiremos!

I’m not one for leaving reviews to often, I first came to this hotel in April 2024 with the family and we enjoyed it so have come back in October half term I didn’t leave a review then but now they need one! First let me say we are a family with 4 kids ages of 9,8,3 & 4 months (busy holiday and currently still here) but I did not expect what they did for Halloween oh my god they started of 30th and it went on for 3 days of celebration of Halloween the hotel was decorated and so was the entire pool area and show are like I have never seen before, the went to town on this event they made sure all lights was red, decorations hanging everywhere the staffed all dressed up amazing the displays was great I mean they took this task seriously! They knew the assignment and they did more that deliver they smashed it out of the park!!! Well done I mean very well done! Hotel : well the hotel is very nice and modern and kept very clean, the sports bar is great and so are all over areas such as gym and restaurants Food : the food was good it had lots of variety and was always of good quality although typical buffet style but cannot fault it and my kids are fussy but they are extremely well every day, restaurant staff was very helpful and very professional so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Staff: all staff was great and friendly from the moment you arrive reception are fantastic, cleaning are great, bar staff are just amazing just cannot fault any of them they all deserve to be paid more! Animation team: well where to start, where do they get their energy they must be knackered everyday but you would never know they all try so hard all day every day! There is activities constantly from t shirt making to shooting to Zumba it’s just great and one day they had a mechanical bull to ride! Yes I smashed it! What was really nice is Gina and Elias and the animation manager remembered us from April when my wife was pregnant and was so excited to meet baby! Honestly these people make this hotel and are the main reason we came back! They should all be so proud of them selves for a great season! Pools: this hotel has 3 pools one for the baby’s with little slides etc which is good just too cold, the main pool with the bouncy cushion is great but absolutely freezing! The other pool is heated and where most people went. The life guards are great super friendly and helpful there is no smoking or vaping round the pool and as someone who does smoke this was good for the kids so was nice to see. Bad part of pool : Unfortunately there is no inflatables allowed which is very annoying because the hotel will sell you them only to be told no by a life guard (who does this in such a nice way genuinely nice person) the hotel management has banned them for health and safety which I totally get but don’t sell them in your own shop then! I did complain and wanted my money back which the hotel accommodated no problem as it was from their shop but if it was somewhere

Great hotel. Fab gym, pools, kids activities, proximity to beach. Good rooms and comfy beds. Excellent value for money.Take earplugs because walls paper thin.

Wir waren jetzt schon zum vierten Mal im Viva Sunrise in Alcúdia und es war wie immer super!!!!!!! Der Service, das Essen, die Animation, alles perfekt. Wir werden mit Sicherheit noch einmal wiederkommen und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf.
