MainStay Suites Knoxville Airport

The good: * Front desk staff was polite / helpful (after taking to Mgr for most questions) * Laundry (2 washer / dryers) - bring quarters. * Clean (inside) Not so good: * Dishwasher leaks - a lot * Very limited kitchen - 1 fry pan, 1 pot (I think it was top of double burner), another example: only 1 (small) fork - this is extended day hotel! * Only 1 chair to sit at counter (to eat for example) * NO dresser or drawers at all - where does one put clothes for a week? * No suitcase stand, nor room for one. * Small TVs * Very COLD pool * Very DIRTY pool: bugs floating (and biting!), Cig buts, etc. * Nighty Construction worker gatherings on patio. - As many as 8 -10, several CASES of beer consumed, - sometimes Pepsi but with bottles of hard liquor - entire patio stinks of cig smoke, from above gatherings * EV charger (there's only 1) inoperative the entire stay * Almost same breakfast daily, always powered eggs, tasteless waffles, unlabeled cereal of underminable quality or age. Blueberry yogurt, always blueberry. * Only 1 housekeeping visit/week. Bring your own shampoo etc. Hang up your towels! * Take your own garbage out, if after 5pm take all the way to dumpster in parking lot, then ask front desk for a coveted (apparently) new bag. Summary: a bit older place, but mostly suffers from cheap management and lack of attention to detail. I expected more after paying over $100 a night for a long-term stay. Would I go back? Absolutely NOT.

The location is good bring centrally located with easy access to everywhere you need to get to. The room was clean and has an adequate mini kitchen so it isn't necessary to eat out all the time. The hotel was quiet so not bothered by noise. And wifi is provided for internet access.

Decent room kinda cramped. Worst part was there was flooring missing in bathroom, paint all of hair dryer, Tub had rust on overflow cap and paint chipping in shower area. Range hood looked very outdated. Room smelled musty. Floor lamp shade stains all over it. They are doing renovations but this room looks like they started it but never finished

I have stayed there long term; they also care about the safety of their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel safe.

Good bed, pillows and cleanliness. Only critique is limited supplies for an extended stay hotel. Had to keep asking front desk for supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, towels etc). It was also strange to be there while the hotel was having new furniture put in, but nice to see that it was getting updated.

The room was set up for relaxation or conducting business which made a great place to stay. The way they mounted the tv on the wall was awesome because you could move it to watch tv from the couch or from the bed. The owner checked me in and was very nice. I talked to him for a little bit, he cares very much for his hotel and customers.

This is one of the cleanest and friendly place to stay you have clean everything and they not out date the pictures on the app is what u get. I tried other hotels and they’re nothing like Mainstay in Alcoa Tn I’ll be back next week. Keep up the Good work

The bed was nice and comfy. I love the springs. Bounce nicely. Not fancy. But it’s definitely worth it if you just need some alone time. Nice area to sit and work or play cards. Sofa as well…but maybe throw a towel down before sitting haha! Just saying
