"The hotel's biggest advantage is its location on the best beach, Falesia. The views are picturesque. The hotel itself is small, but the grounds are well-planned, with several spots to enjoy the scenery. It's very beautiful and cozy. I booked a standard room, and they gave me a very old room on the second floor with a view of the parking lot. The room had a strong musty smell, old carpeting, and there were constant renovation noises from the parking area. I have allergies, so staying in such a room was very uncomfortable. Therefore, I had to pay an extra 70 euros for one night to switch to a sea-view room. They gave me a room on the fourth floor, in a different wing. This room was a bit smaller, and there wasn't a strong musty smell, especially with the balcony open, but the sea view definitely made up for everything! The breakfasts are excellent, service is good, and there's yoga and stretching offered throughout the day. There's both an outdoor and an indoor pool. In May, it's still a bit cold, so you can't really swim much. The staff are pleasant and try their best to help with everything."

"The hotel is very well located, 15 minutes from the city center and right next to the beach. It is charmingly decorated and has a great view towards the city and the ocean. Some things are a bit old and could be better cared for. Our room could definitely use a renovation but still retains a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the breakfast organization today, not enough plates and cutlery and most no one to lift up the tables. Food was also scarse but tasty."

"After reading some recent reviews I was a little worried before arriving to the hotel. On arrival I found there was not much to complain about. The hotel apartment was clean, spacious and fresh. The pool area was clean with plenty of loungers around the pool and garden area until 11am. Drinks from the bar were always made fresh and strong. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. The fridge in the kitchen worked great allowing us to freeze water. We didn’t visit the spa was good value. Yes there were groups of young friends staying at the hotel, however I didn’t find these caused much disruption. Any music at the pool was told to stop after a short while. We may have got lucky over our duration, however given the prox walk to new town this will happen. It isn’t the hotels fault the area has spiked in popularity with teens."

"At best its a 4star property. During our stay hotel wasnt at its best, so ill put 3.5 stars. Hotel entrance looks like a train station waiting room. For a moment we thought that we are underground as its dark everywhere inside the hotel. Toilets were smelly on the entrance ground, Windows were cleaned on Christmas last year i think. Dirty floors. Rooms are dingy, but spacious.. Lots of cupboard space. you cant use the mirrors in bath area as its too dark. Water in Toilet bowl keeps on going unless you fiddle with the push buttons. TV Remote was filthy. Towels are from the 10th century, use with care! Toiletries are basic brands, nothing oo la la! Breakfast is good, not excellent. Theres a live station for omelettes and pancakes. Coffee from nescafe machines with pods, again not very 5 star standard. Stay here if you have a good price deal but not high expectations. DO NOT EXPECT 5 STAR SERVICE! You have been warned."

"Overall rating: 1/5 We spent 10 days at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was the worst vacation we have ever experienced. If you work hard for your money and want to spend a nice, relaxing time with your family, I wholeheartedly advise against choosing this place. The Pros (very few): The only smooth part of the trip was the check-in process. The required €100 deposit was returned without any issues upon check-out. As for the food, the selection wasn't the worst, and you could find something to eat every day, but the food was always cold. There is a microwave in the dining room where you have to reheat your meals yourself. The Cons (dealbreakers): Cleanliness and standards: The rooms are very outdated and not cleaned properly. During our entire 10-day stay, the bed sheets were not changed even once, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Non-stop noise and night disruptions: This hotel caters 100% to British teenagers who make noise constantly, day and night. I understand that young people want to have fun, but there is a clear line between having a good time and making everyone else's lives miserable. Groups returning from parties in the early morning hours would run down the hallways and, as a "joke," ring the doorbells of rooms where people were trying to sleep. Lack of management response: The hotel seems completely unable to handle this situation. They tolerate this behavior and ignore the comfort and well-being of other guests. I deeply regret not listening to the previous reviews that warned about this exact issue. It was a waste of our hard-earned money and time. If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday, stay far away from this place."

"Arrived Friday evening for a 7 night break with my husband. Reception big and clean, check in process quick and simple! Allocated room 5, easy to find, exceptionally clean and split between modern and slightly dated mainly the kitchen needs updating) kitchen facilities are VERY basic with very minimal utensils and plates etc The room had a lovely pool view with balcony too, maid service daily and comfortable beds. Has an indoor pool, whirlpool, gym and squash court too. Pool area simple with a medium size pool and toddler pool, lots of comfortable sun-beds amd maintained garden areas. Location was good for both old and new town 10-15 min walk to each or 4 euro in an uber or bolt. As it was out of season the hotel overall was quiet! I'd say more for couples and friends than family's. Mini golf always busy as open to the public also but you can play for 12 euros each. No vending machines etc which I think would do well but there is a Spar shop 3 mins around the corner. I would happily stay here again no issues! I do think it could benefit from a lick of paint and freshen up but otherwise great!"

Luckily, Mr. Paulo was super helpful and attentive, and he provided us with a much better apartment than the one we had booked without changing the price.
