Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel au Kayal L’hôtel est simple mais décoré avec beaucoup de goût Le service est irréprochable et l’équipe fait tout pour rendre votre séjour unique et inoubliable, merci à Saiju de nous avoir voir initié à la pêche traditionnelle keralaise (nous avons même pu déguster notre pêche lors d’un dîner aux chandelles sur le bateau) La nourriture est excellente et traditionnelle

We arrived after two wonderful weeks in Kerala, and were looking for a special place to end our trip. We couldn't have chosen better. We arrived at a beautiful island, and a well-kept, high-quality hotel. Starting with the design of the room, with artistic attention to the smallest details, and especially the amazing staff, who never stopped taking care of us. The canoe ride at sunset was spectacular. For me, the morning tour of the island was the highlight. We followed Saiju on a jungle path and met locals, heard about the history of the place, and received explanations about the special vegetation. The food was excellent and the cooking class was enjoyable. For those who want some peace, in a hidden and spectacular corner, it is highly recommended

Un remanso de paz y tranquilidad para conectar con la naturaleza. La comida, las habitaciones, los espacios comunes, el personal, las actividades que ofrecen... Todo está cuidado con el máximo detalle y atención al cliente es fantástica. Un lugar único.

One of our memorable trips ever ❤️..It's a unique place ..only 4 rroms in little slice of an island witj complete isolation from everything..watch sunrise with birds chirping at morning..you drink your coffee sitting on lounge chairs in the resort watching the place slowly waking up ..Fantastic experience for all city folks who wants silence at least for few days in their life .. Room is cozy , filled with natural and reusable materials with open bathroom..food is absolutely delightful..all kerala food we tasted there were freshly prepared ..tender coconut and banana ice creams are out of the world ..staffs are more than willing to do anything with a smile ..Big kudos to all of them 👏 🙌 We went for boat ride and village walk...both activities are amazing ..so refreshing to see village people doing their daily activities in their surroundings..laid back life with very minimal materialistic posessions..envy such people 😀..

This is a really special retreat, and it was a highlight of our trip to Southern India. All the staff at the resort were so kind and thoughtful and made our entire stay relaxing and memorable. We were only able to stay for one night but we immediately wished we had booked for a longer stay! From the minute we got on the boat to Kakkathuruthu we were fascinated by the birds and the beauty of the setting. Even though our stay was short, it left a lasting impression. The moonlight dinner on the boat was AMAZING. It will be a lifelong memory for us. The food at the hotel was excellent and so fresh. Our village walk in the morning before we left was a highlight. Saiju is an amazing host and the hotel would not be the same without him.

Serene location and attentive staff. Food was great and the rooms are cozy— a rustic luxuriousness. There’s a small curation of activities like massages and fishing. But if you’re there for a real reset, you can spend the day reading, eating, napping and watching the languid backwaters.
