Average stay, its better to take day ride and stay at hotel of your choice. Shikara ride is good option.

My stay at my trip house boat was average only. There are three drawbacks. 1. Package was expensive but they turned on the ac only from 9pm to 6am. 2. Food was not good(bf, lunch and dinner)
3. The door lock was not working well both in main door as well as bathroom.

I booked a room on a sharing houseboat But when arrived, they sent us to another houseboat that didn’t have most of the amenities However, the food was good in that houseboat.

Best food i tasted in life, friendly staff. We bought tiger prawns and the chef cooked them for us, that was the best food.

I booked the stay in deluxe rooms for 13k expecting it to be a 5 star like experience but it was a very average room. The ac was not turned on till 8:30 at night leaving us sweating throughout the day. A lot of things advertised were not even there. It was a basic room with attached bathroom.

The cleanliness and the aesthetician of the boat were pretty mediocre which was manageable. The food served was not so great and the breakfast had nothing but just idli. I think for a boat of this price the menu could have been much better.

Food was quite tasty and good. Staff was cooperative. Safety and hygiene was good. For best experience, they should include games, programmes on the boat.
