while the experience was generally okay, I do think the hotel is in need of some renovations to meet the high standards typically associated with the InterContinental brand. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which was a plus. I had plenty of space to relax, and the bed was quite comfortable. However, the hotel’s amenities could definitely use some updating. The gym, spa, and pool areas, while functional, felt outdated and could benefit from a refresh to match the quality expected from a luxury hotel. These facilities didn’t have the modern feel I was hoping for and left something to be desired. As for dining, the food options were limited, with little variety. I expected a broader selection, especially given the hotel’s reputation. While the food that was available was decent, it lacked the diversity and flair that you’d typically expect from a high-end hotel.

We chose this hotel as a family weekend getaway and were very pleased. After a 4-hour drive, we were in our room within minutes even though it was not yet check-in time. The hotel was above my expectations. It is a good facility built on a huge area, where you won't feel it even if it is at full capacity, with plenty of green areas and two separate beaches. It is not a new hotel but everything was very well-maintained and well-kept. The breakfast and meals were very good. The best thing about it all was the staff. I would especially like to thank the receptionist lady whose name I forgot to ask. We will definitely come again.

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jubail I rate the experience as 10/10 for the following reasons: Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful wanted the guest to enjoy the best possible experience during one's stay. The team in the Al Diwan restaurant were exceptional, Friendly and gave great advice in addition to providing excellent service. The cuisine at the Lebanese restaurant was fantastic and I would certainly return on my next visit to the area. I would recommend a visit to the Al Diwan restaurant without hesitation.
