Royal Wings Hotel - All Inclusive

I was deeply disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Having visited 5-star resorts in Antalya before, I expected a high standard of hospitality, but this was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had. Jenny K’s review from 22 November perfectly captures what my family and I endured — word for word, it felt as though she was describing our stay. Staff: The staff at this hotel were shockingly rude, and it’s important to mention that my family and I are people of colour. In my past travels, I’ve experienced staff who go above and beyond to assist guests, but that was far from the case here. From the second day onward, I felt unwelcome and hesitant to even approach the staff with questions. My inquiries were met with blunt, dismissive responses, and the reception staff, in particular, were openly condescending. When I stepped aside after speaking to the receptionist, I observed a stark difference in how they treated the next guest, who was of Turkish background. Their tone became softer, and they were smiling and laughing, which only highlighted the bias in their behaviour. We would get strange stares when walking around the hotel, from the staff and from guests that were not of colour. I was shocked at the treatment by the waiters in the food area. I clearly saw the difference in the treatment between us and people not of colour. Whenever it was busy, my family and I had to sit on a table that hadn’t been cleared/cleaned. Whenever I would ask the waiter if they could clean the table so that we could eat, I would get told that it’s not their job and to find another waiter that is responsible for that section. There would never be any waiter nearby the table for me to ask so I had to be running around clueless trying to find someone to clear the table. When I did find someone, the food was already cold. All tables were set with cutlery and tissues. When the waiter cleared the table they disappeared and didn’t return so we did not have cutlery and had to wait even longer to eat because we had no cutlery. When I tried to ask for cutlery, the waiter told me in these exact words “Lady, can you see it is right there, get it yourself”. I was shocked at this as I have witnessed waiters instantly providing cutlery with tissues the moment people of Turkish background or white background were seated. I am almost certain that anyone who had good treatment by the staff were either of Turkish Background or White Background. Room: The rooms were generally clean and the bathroom was clean too. However, the carpets were visibly dirty. My brothers were in a separate room and they said that they had stains on their bed and also found hair in their beds that was not theirs. The walls were EXTREMELY thin. We could clearly hear the conversations word for word from the room next to us and I am sure they could hear ours too. Disappointing Experience DO NOT RECOMMEND Environment: My partner and I— people of colour —were really looking forward to our stay. We expected luxury, relaxation, and a warm, welcoming environment at such an advertised international hotel. Unfortunately, what we experienced instead was deeply disappointing and, at times, outright uncomfortable. From the start, we noticed the constant stares. It felt as though we were under scrutiny simply for being who we are. Initially, we brushed it off, thinking we might be overreacting, but as the days went on the hostility from both staff and other guests completely ruined the whole experience. The uncomfortable stares whilst we were just walking along the vicinity of the hotels made the experience completely disheartening. The worst part of the experience was the outright hostility from a few individuals. On a couple of occasions, we were spat at in public areas of the hotel. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to create an environment where all guests feel valued and respected, regardless of their background. We personally wouldnt want to go back and we want to raise awareness where if you are anyone who is of any other than Turkish Background to be aware of the treatment that you will have. Food: I’d rate the food a disappointing 3/10. While there was a variety of options available, the dishes were consistently bland and lacked any real flavor. For a 5-star hotel, we expected much better quality and attention to taste. It also made me have food poisoning a couple of days in a row Room: The room walls were incredibly thin, to the point where we could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms and even their TVs. This lack of soundproofing made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep, as we were kept awake throughout the night and woken up early in the morning. It was extremely frustrating and far from the level of comfort we expected from a 5-star hotel. Facilities: I understand that we visited during the off-season, between the end of summer and the peak of winter, but it should have been made clear that nearly all, if not all, facilities would be closed. As a result, it felt like we weren’t getting the value we paid for. While I understand this might be typical for the season, there should have been more transparency about what would be unavailable. A detailed update about closed facilities prior to our arrival would have helped us set realistic expectations.

Bugün itibari ile 5 günlük yapmış olduğum tatili bitirmiş bulunmaktayım kısaca özet geçecek olursak muhteşem.... otel sahiplerine şunu söylemek isterim Kundu Belek bölgesinde bir çok otel gezmeme rağmen bu kadar işini seven güler yüzlü personel kalitesi dikkat çekici idi. Gurur duymalısınız otelde ki ilgiden gözünüz hiç bir şey e takılmıyor kapı giriş güvenlik ablalarımızdan animasyon ,mini club da ki arkadaşların çocuklara olan ilgisi servis yapan arkadaşlarımıza teşekkür ederiz bir şey almayalım dememize rağmen bir misafir etme çabaları duygulandırıcı hepsine tek tek teşekkür ederiz

Das Hotel hat ein gutes Gesamtbild Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen ist sehr vielseitig und man hat eine grosse Auswahl. Das Personal ist am morgen jeweils sehr überfordert um einen Tisch frei zu räumen. Da gibt es Mitarbeiter die einfach zuschauen anstatt zu helfen. Der Kellner hat mir leid getan Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Getränke wurden jeden Tag neu aufgefüllt. Auffüllservice sehr Sympathisch :) Das einzige Manco am Zimmer war, dass das Zimmer Hellhörig ist. Wir haben unsere Nachbaren bis um 2/3 Uhr morgen noch gehört wie Sie auf dem Zimmer feiern.

It is a nice hotel, with management issues. Staff, even at the reception are not able to speak English/German to solve simple problems and this resulted in a big confusion during our stay. Also at the check in, we were given no information about the programs available for the guests or kids, available restaurants or the location of Gym. And this is a huge issue, considering the size of the hotel and lack of a map/or a written program. The food is not exceptional. Some staff at the restaurant (not all) are really unhelpful and in general the hotel management needs a proper adjustment. However, in general a clean, large hotel with a lot of activities ( which you need to find out about them by yourself).
