1 out of 5. This hotel was the worst we have stayed in so far in Sri Lanka. For the price, we have been staying in hotels much cheaper and they were much more accommodating. Firstly, the room was very basic, they did not provide hand towels, tooth brush holder, kettle, water , hair dryer or spoons in the room (all of which where listed as amenities that are included). The air conditioning was also very temperamental. When we asked for these amenities they told us they do not have hand towels (even though there was a holder for one). When we asked for a kettle which they took out of another room there was not enough plug switches for it so it required unplugging the fridge to use. The hotel was completely understaffed and no one at reception after about 5:30 so if you are checking in later bare that in mind. Breakfast was included however the portions were small comparing to cheaper places we have stayed and when my partner asked for another slice of bread they charged us which for a 4 start hotel we thought was extremely odd. We raised our concerns to reception on our second day and the reception lady was new so she didn’t really know what to do or say. She did offer another room which we saw included many things we also didn’t have. We had to ask if there is housekeeping as the rooms get dirty easily due to being close to the beach (sand) and again they said we need to give our key in order for it to be cleaned. The overall cleanliness wasn’t very nice: blocked drain from hair so water flooded. Dirty windows and mirrors. One positive is it is right on the beach which is beautiful so that’s what you are really paying for. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and I would recommend staying somewhere cheaper where you would be provided a much better experience.

Prime spot on the southern coast just outside of Ahangama town centre. Plenty of dining options near by, if you choose not to eat at the hotel itself (which has great meal options itself - the sea bass, quesadillas and chocolate milkshakes are highly recommended), breakfast was included and it’s bountiful. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The vibe of the place is great, the residents were predominantly families, but during the course of the day a lot of non-residents hang out at the beach garden and pool. Great beach access, sunsets and highly recommended location to stay.

Третья поездка на Шри-Ланку и самый удачный выбор как проживания, так и обучения серфингу. Номера очень стильные, потрясающий вид на океан. Вкусная кухня, классная территория виллы, выход к пляжу и океану. Очень приветливый и отзывчивый персонал, своевременная уборка. Обязательно вернёмся к ребятам из good story снова. Единственный минус - слабый интернет в номере. На территории с wi-fi все прекрасно.

Second time we have stayed at Timeless Villa with our children (6&9) and another fantastic stay. All the staff from Sudath the manager, Suchinni on reception to Hasanka and all the guys in the restaurant cannot do enough for you and are incredibly welcoming. Right on the beach with a great pool looking over the waves and sand I would not stay anywhere else in Ahangama. Highly highly recommend!!! Great for families. 🌞
