Golden Sunrise Machupicchu

I put the do not disturb sign on the door. At about 9am the maid walked in while I was not wearing pants. I went to the front desk to tell them. They said sorry and shrugged. I told them it is not OK that a maid goes into a room with a do not disturb sign on the door. I then went out for only 1 hour with the sign still on the door. When I came back, the maid had been in my room AGAIN!! Again I went to the front desk to tell them and they could not give me an answer as to why the maid went into my room for a 2nd time with the do not disturb sign still on the door. I felt violated and unsafe. Do not stay here if you want any kind of privacy in your room, the maid will just let herself in while you are naked and no one will care or do anything about it

Hotel confortável, quartos e banheiros amplos, sem cadeira ou banco para pessoas com paraplegia; porém a recepção prontamente providenciou uma cadeira de plástico que ajudou muito. Café da manhã maravilhoso, funcionários muito educados!! Possue elevador e entrada com rampa. Quartos extremamente limpos!! Vc pode deixar a mochila na recepção para visitar Machu Picchu e depois eles te entregam na estação de trem.

Decent rooms in terms of size. Our room had a funny smell and we realized later that our toilet leaked. The shower was hit or miss. Some days it took 10 minutes to get warm, one day I had to take a cold shower, but then the next morning it was totally fine and hot. A little unpredictable. The location was fine, Aguas Calientes is small and walkable. The room was reasonably clean. The breakfast was hectic because everyone got an early start to Machu Picchu and they only had a single person working the kitchen, so they constantly ran out of juice, eggs, bread, etc. The front desk staff was not great. They took our passports at check in and told us we could come back to pick them up in 20 minutes (would have been nice if they had offered to deliver them to the rooms but OK). When I showed up downstairs to retrieve my family's passports, the front desk and lobby area were empty, a stack of 10+ passports was displayed on the bar and the door to the hotel was propped open. Anyone could have walked in from the street and grabbed the stack on passports!! I would not recommend this hotel. There are enough other choices in Aguas Calientes.

La atención brindada por Sr. Milton ha sido excepcional. Su amabilidad y disposición ha hecho superar las expectativas del servicio al cliente. Siempre nos mostró una actitud positiva, resolviendo todas nuestras dudas y asegurándonos una estancia placentera. Ya que nos hizo de: recepcionista, cocinero y guía,etc. Lo que hiciera falta! 😊 Su cortesía han dejado cada interacción en una experiencia memorable para nosotros; y eso lo queríamos destacar. Su dedicación a proporcionar un servicio de calidad refleja su carácter como persona y profesional. En definitiva, un activo valioso para el hotel! Muchas gracias Milton des de España!

Nice location, busy area. We took the train in from Machu Picchu and had to walk a bit to get there. Staff were very nice, okay breakfast, clean rooms. There are a couple of laundry services near by. A little noisy at night but that’s to be expected in the city

The hotel was in a decent location to walking around, but also a bit off center to be nicely quiet. Close enough to train station. Breakfast was very nice. Laundry services prompt. Front desk knew English. Good coordination of tour services. Cleaning staff were thorough. It is a basic hotel but very good with good cost. 100% recommend.

Excelente trato, muy amigables y solícitos Habitaciones amplías, limpias, ventiladas. Buena potencia de agua, calientita. Súper recomendable. Desayuno rico. Chef muy acogedor y todos los que te atienden muy amigables, te hacen sentir en confianza, como en casa. Son bien lindos.

Hotel ótimo!! Café da manhã buffet, com muita variedade: frutas, ovos, salsicha, iogurtes, pães e etc. Cama confortável! Banheiro limpo e chuveiro excelente. Localização é ótima! Perto da estação de trem.

Good option to stay in Águas Calientes. It is located a little bit far from the main center, but in a very short walk (about 5 minutes) you reach the artisan market, train station and restaurants. The hotel itself is nice. The staff is friendly. The room is big, clean and confortable. The breakfast is ok, but could be improved.
