Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambres propres et de l’eau chaude. Communication facile via Whatsapp avec Max. Il nous a fait bénéficier d’un chauffeur depuis l’aéroport de Delhi à un prix raisonnable. De nombreux tuc tucs aux alentours pour visiter .

Les points positifs : le wifi fonctionnait correctement, les draps/serviettes étaient propres et il y avait de l’eau chaude. Le restaurant recommandé était bon, bien qu’éloigné de la guesthouse. Les points négatifs : la chambre était pleine de poussière sur les meubles et tête de lit, les serviettes tachées (bien que propres), la chambre était extrêmement bruyante (jusqu’à minuit et des 6h du matin), on a quasi l’impression d’être dehors, la robineterie présente des signes de moisissure. Conclusion: ça fait le job pour visiter le TajMahal une nuit, mais ne ps s’y attarder. L’intérêt du lieu semble être l’interaction avec Max, mais il n’était malheureusement pas présent lors de notre séjour (uniquement par tél) et le reste de la famille fait du mieux qu’elle peut mais sans le même accueil attendu.

Max is a great host and we felt at it was our Indian home. The bathroom is very clean, we liked the ar conditioning, and he arranged a transfer from Delhi Airport. There are also some food options. You can see an special touch in every detail. It was my second time staying there, and we'll always recommend it for friends and family going to Agra.

I spent a few days at Max guesthouse. And I sincerely recommend this establishment. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. A roof terrace surrounded by flowers is great for having your morning coffee. Max is always ready to help us, give us advice so that our stay goes as well as possible. Like finding a taxi, a restaurant or others. Thank you for this great welcome

With 5 star ratings I felt confident in choosing Max’s Guest House and I’m so glad I did. Not only does Max have lodging accommodations, he owns a taxi service, a cafe, and he is a local with many recommendations for travelers. My dad and I are both gluten and dairy free, which can make eating while traveling difficult. When we mentioned this to Max he not only knew what gluten free meant, he was able to cook food that we could safely eat. We ended up eating all of our meals at Max’s during our stay in Agra.

Max made the whole experience easy and enjoyable with helpful local knowledge to avoid us being ripped off. He planned both our transfers for us and was always available to help. He gave fantastic service and homely stay, and allowed us to help ourselves to drinks as needed and pay at the end. He even helped with money exchange and gave the same rates as we got elsewhere meaning there was no hassle at all.

We had a great stay at Max Guest House. We stayed for 3 nights and Max kindly let us check in early due to our early arrival into Agra. As it was cold at night, he provided extra blankets for us which was great. We would definitely recommend that anybody stay here and we would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Max Guesthouse during our tour of India in December 2023. We were very impressed with such a gracious welcome and a lot of helpful information from Max. Max also provides taxi transport services from Agra to Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore and other locations at very decent prices! Believe me, I called 5 transport companies to hire a car with a driver from Agra to Ranthambore and in the end Max had the best deal. We have rented for INR 8300 on our customized program with stops at Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri StepWell, if going directly from Agra to Ranthambore without stops it would have cost us INR 7500. The guesthouse itself is ordinary, with standard accommodation appropriate to its cost. Breakfast is ok, offered to choose from 3 options. I highly recommend Max Guesthouse unless you need a 4*-5* hotel.
