Cuba Agonda

I had an awful experience with Cuba Agonda and would highly recommend staying far away from this hotel. I booked a sea-facing villa from MMT website, and despite never actually staying there, I was charged Rs. 15,000. The whole situation was extremely frustrating. my 3-year-old daughter has a health issue due to the weather and we submitted all required documents to their official email There was no communication from their end—no call, no email, nothing at all. I had no idea why the money was taken until I reached out and was told it was due to their "terms & policies," which is a complete scam. It’s clear that Cuba Agonda is exploiting unsuspecting customers by charging them unfairly as I have seen others review now that this is very common issue in this property. There was zero effort to communicate with me beforehand, and they completely disregarded any attempt to resolve the issue. I strongly advise against booking with them—this hotel is nothing but a scam. (see here I attached Screenshot of Communication see they do not reply at all) Save your money and your peace of mind!

They took payment , we waited after 12 hours driving from banglore and now they have cancelled. We had to find good resort nearby which is dersy and they took us in in this terrible time. Manager just told us they don't care and refunded but is this valid ? I am not sure about customer experience in this resort now.

My sisters and I stayed at Agonda Cuba. The view from the room, which is right on the beach, is par excellence!!! 24/7 access to a spectacular clean beach in Goa is AMAZING. Thank you Marchan and crew for the excellent, friendly and attention to detail service you provided!!!!! The room itself is VERY overpriced - the curtains rods are broken and hang by a thread, the entire floor covering is stapled together and hangs in there just barely. The washroom is in a state of disrepair and needs A LOT of fixing!!! Water from a short shower floods the entire washroom and has to be swabbed out manually to the many holes bored into the washroom floor!! The water then falls directly onto the beach below that overlooks the restaurant!!! I’m writing this review in the hope that Agonda Cuba management will do something…anything to fix their VERY tired rooms as the property is sitting on prime property with amazing views and has excellent restaurant and housekeeping staff. Stayed in Cuba Agonda from 21st Jan till 25th Jan. We were 2 couples. This property is more towards the south side of Agonda beach. We booked 2 adjacent sea-facing huts/rooms (with a common access steps) Mr Arman, the manager of the property made sure that we got the rooms as we had wanted (Thanks). He was also helpful in our (little bit) early check-in & (little bit) late check-out. The best thing of this property is the unrestricted view of the sea right from inside the Sea-facing rooms. The front wall is a full length sliding glass window. The rooms are huge (and I mean it; lots of space left after a full sized bed, dresser table, cupboard & side stand) and had AC. The bathrooms are also HUGE & with hot & cold running water (though I would suggest management to make sure the water pressure is increased & consistent). Our stay was made really comfortable & pleasant with Mr Madan attending to our needs from early tea/breakfasts till late dinners (thank you Madan Bhai for your wonderful hospitality). A really cheerful person who went out of his way to cater to us and offer friendly suggestions too. The food was good. And was brought to our rooms. Plenty of space in front of each room, with chairs & table to sit & have a leisurely meal. The housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily (with a cheerful smile), replaced towels every day. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

I really like this place but due to arrogant behaviour of the guy I am giving such rating, may be he is the owner or partner. He actually don't know how to talk, his tone is so rude. Boss paisa deke rehne ko aate hai sab fokat ka nahi rehta koi. I would definitely won't recommend any of my friends or family to stay at such place. You should atleast know how to speak to your guest.

Travelled to Cuba Agoda in first week of Feb2022 with friends. Nice, comfortable and scenic beach facing location. Those looking for cottages with fine scenery, this is the place to be. Has basic amenities like AC, fan, gyser, etc, but no TV. Mobile range is missing, but has free WiFi. So recommend it for those who want to enjoy the disconnected world. Food & Drinks on the expensive side. And taste could have been better. But various better food options nearby.
