Robolla Beach Aparthotel

Certainly not a place I would recommend to go to in October as the hotel shuts for the winter and the town winds down as well. Stunning views of Albania in the distance, but it's location and access to the seafront and town is dangerous, especially in the dark. The roads are terrible and their isn't a decent footpath that links the whole 5 mile bay. Hiring a car is a necessity,but I would recommend an automatic as the roads are terrible and very hilly and twisty! Sadly I got food poisoning during my stay, and when speaking to some locals, about being poorly, they automatically assumed I was staying at Robolla as it's renowned for food poisoning. The staff at breakfast were very rude and never said hello once. The waitress didn't smile or acknowledge my thanks, each time she cleared our table. Greek dancing was advertised on a banner when we arrived for the Sunday, but then didn't happen. We were advised then it was because the hotel was closing that week. There are midgies biting in October so you don't want to be outdoors in the evenings, but nothing happening in the hotel for guests and the decor is really bland and uninteresting. The reception is a lovely space and could be utilised so much more. We spent most of our time in our room, but only one music channel and two English speaking news channels were any good to watch. This stay has confirmed we won't be returning to Corfu and the Canaries is the place to be in October

Die Lage mit direkten Strandtugang und kostenlosen Standliegen ist super. Das Hotel selbt ist in die Jahre gekommen und definitiv keine 4 Sterne (mehr?) wert. Die Küchenausstattung im Apartment war unvollständig. Die Qualität des Frühstücksbufet war mäßig und die Speisen z. T. ungenießbar.

Wij hebben hier een week verbleven . Ik vond het personeel er onvriendelijk . Aan de bar bij het zwembad zelfs zeer onvriendelijk bediend. Er kon geen lach vanaf . Beneden bij de beachbar juist hetzelfde . Het was ze precies allemaal teveel dat ze moesten werken. ‘s morgens ontbijtzaal is juist een refter. Personeel daar ook weer zeer onvriendelijk . Wij zijn al 5 maal in corfu geweest dit was slechtste vakantie van de 5. Wij komen nooit nog terug naar dit hotel .

Points positifs Très belle chambres et propres et casi toute vue mer et montagnes albanaise Bonne climatisation, très belles piscines. Restauration moyenne mais on mange à sa faim Points négatifs Hotel trop loin de l'aéroport 1h30 en car Chambres insonorisées mais beaucoup de bruit de déplacement de meubles, chaises jusqu'à tard la nuit, bruits de pas ou d'enfants qui courent dans les chambres Pas très francophone.nous étions les seul début octobre. Attention , rien à voir avec l'hotel ,si vous approchez de l'Est de l'ile ,éteignez votre téléphone car il se connecte sur le réseau Albanais et une surtaxe de 60 euros peut vous arrivez si vous surfez.

An und für sich schöne Anlage schöne Zimmer aber das Essen speziell das Frühstück kann man vergessen. Alles auf englische Gäste ausgelegt. Wer kein Englisch spricht, ist verraten und verkauft. Sicherheitsstandards gleich null, Treppenhäuser ohne Handlauf, bei Regen lebensgefährlich. Service unterirdisch. Das Hotel bedarf dringenst eines Managementwechsels. 4 Sterne hat es nicht verdient.

Myself and my husband stayed here for a week, in September 2024, this was our first holiday sole in 9 years, our children have grown up and we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year aswell, Robolla beach apart hotel is definitely not somewhere we will go back to and not will we recommend it to anyone. The apartment was ok, standard mattress was hard on the bed, unfortunately very tin walls between apartments so you could hear quite a lot at night including children crying in the middle of the night, 😏, however I will say the view was good from the apartment, about the only thing that was good. There is no nice welcome when you arrive staff don’t speak great English, and then yr travel tax that yr hit with when you arrive, that you can pay for their and then or when you leave, along with other things. If you go for a drink at the bar by the beach it’s charged to your room number, something else that’s not mentioned to you. Breakfast is ok, it’s a variety of different foods, but if you have and food or if you’re lactose intolerant then, best of luck 😏. We arrived on the Friday evening, on Saturday morning we went to the dining area for breakfast, found a table by the window which had a beautiful view, taught nothing of it and moved the items that were on it to another table, only to be shouted at by the manager in front of the entire dining hall. Not a great start to our holiday. Made a complaint but nothing from what we know was done about it. The complex is built on a hill so if you’re anyway mobile challenged then this is not the place for you. There is no entertainment in the complex apart from some music in the beach bar in the evening, but that stops early, your not told about activities or places to go, you have to find that out yourself, by talking to other guests. It’s not exactly a friendly place, dining staff just stand around, and there’s also the issue of being attacked by bees while in the dining hall when the large windows are opened, which happens to be every morning when breakfast is happening. Unfortunately this was and is not a great hotel but has the potential to be one of it was run better by a different people. The beach is quite small for what there is of a beach when it’s not covered in seaweed. And it’s one of tow access ruts to the near by village, only where the tide is not too high, otherwise you have to use the road which is very hilly and not very safe as the cars can drive quite fast pass you, so if your looking for a good holiday do your self a favour and DO NOT stay here.
