Elounda Water Park Residence Hotel

We had to cancel with very late notice, and Maria in reservations could not have been more helpful.....really brilliant service.....thank you Maria. She was also most helpful in the reservation process, and we were really looking forward to going to the hotel, which looked really lovely.

The location is on the side of a mountain and approximately 1km for the Elounda beach and is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Walking any direction is challenging. Check in and reception friendly, efficient and provided a basis snack on late arrival. Transferred by golf cart to the top of the campus to our room and seemed to be availabe to ferry people around the grounds if needed. The room was disappointing and would benefit from a complete make over, furniture and floor cover very poor quality. Housekeeping staff were excellent and done their utmost to maintain a good standard of cleanliness, very friendly. The food was excellent good choices and variety always able to get something for both breakfast and dinner. Dining room was spacious and well run again the staff were very efficient and friendly. The pool area was a big bonus always seemed to be sunbeds and the salt water pool was magnificent, very relaxing vibe mostly. We didn't available of the aqua park but looked good for families. The gym area was well layed out although some of the machines were not working. We enjoyed our stay

Een prachtige vakantie!!! Als je aankomt voel je je er direct thuis. Heel gezellige, aangename familiale sfeer. Hele mooie ligging met zicht op Oulous. Supervriendelijk personeel. Lekker eten. Dicht bij het leuke stadje Elounda. In het hotel kan je ook een auto huren of een elektrische fiets. Heel mooi rustig zwembad bij hotel en een mooi zwempretpark voor de kinderen met waterglijbanen. Er is ook animatie voorzien voor de kinderen. Elke week is er een live optreden met Griekse muziek. Er zijn verschillende restaurants, voor elk wat wils. Elounda is ook een hele mooie uitvalsbasis om het eiland Kreta te verkennen. Nette en ruime kamers.

hôtel avec beaucoup de dénivelé très fatiguant . Il se situe loin du village et la navette qui en principe doit vous y amener s arrête a environ 400 m en haut d'une importante descente qu'il faut bien sur remonter pour la récupérer. La nourriture n'est pas trop variée. Grand buffet assez insipide . En ce qui concerne les deux restaurant soit disant typiques aucune spécificité et un service plus que moyen.

Wow, what a fantastic place! From the reception on day one who made sure we all had rooms close to each other. To the 24/7 shuttle bus service in the resort! They couldn't do enough for us! The food was excellent chefs and waiting staff were polite and always looking after our needs! The bar staff again were professional and polite and always made the effort to guide us through the extensive all-inclusive drink selection! Absolutely loved every day at the resort with so much to do for the kids and us adults! Tonight is Friday, and it's Greek night in the main restaurant with dancing, singing, fire, and fun! What a way to end our holiday! Thank you, Elounda Waterpark residence, we will be back!

We stayed here with 11 of us in 3 family rooms, with a mix from ages 8 to 15. On paper this hotel could be brilliant but it’s lacking the extra touch. Some of the reception staff was unbelievably rude, we had to go numerous times to ask for our towels changing as the cleaners was very hit and miss, our beds was only changed once in the two weeks. When you told the receptionist they hadn’t been they had a shoulder shrug attitude about it, as if they were aware this was a problem! We had 3 family rooms but on arrival was put in two family and one twin, but after having to complaint and multiple trips to reception been asked to come back tomorrow this was sorted (this seemed to happen to lots of guests) the 3 rooms we had was all very nice in the new block. Our main problem with this hotel was the food, some of which was ok on a main not very good. The restaurants lacked care and presentation. The evening meal wasn’t set and was often sat around dirty tables. There was nothing that had a wow factor at all just all very average. The snack bar wasn’t horrendous but not great. Most of the chips/snack food was cold but they was stack the trays high and left it to go cold rather than filling little and often. One day I asked the staff member if the had and more chips because these was all flat cold she said yes they go cold fast, so went to get some and filled them on the cold chips 🤯. Lots of the staff were young summer jobs. And although polite they didn’t really seem to care. Two of the men and woman who worked in the day that worked on the top pool bar was really nice, had great hospitality! If the hotel was run by these it would be brilliant!! A older woman who worked on this bar was rude though, could be heard many times having run in with guests, I think she just had an abrupt manner. She gave me the wrong drink once when I said oh sorry I didn’t ask for that, she tutted and said go drink that come back for another. The all inclusive drinks were the worst I’ve had ever in a a 3*, the quality wasn’t great. Cocktails served in cheap tiny disposable cups. Unless you bought them. Glasses were like gold dust in this hotel. I understand that of your in a pool area it can’t be glass but if you bought the drinks they came in a nice beer or cocktail plastic cup but the all inclusive was terrible. Round the pool in the day not one cleans through the day round so you end up with lots of rubbish around. This hotel is n a quiet pretty town, it’s 15/20 min walk down to the town with children and a very steep walk back up so we got a taxi which wasn’t a problem. We ended up eating out lots and didn’t have a bad meal in the town was beautiful. The hotel is on a hill, so not underestimated how many steps and climbs there are. It’s not for the faint hearted! Pools are salt water so you need googles and don’t take white as it colours them. Entertainment was in French even if it had of been in English wasn’t great on a night. Highlights were the Greek n

7€ de plus par jour de taxes alors que ma réservation étais indiqué toutes taxes incluses Nul sale et dangereux aucun réinvestissement matériel de jeu, tout est cassé 3 ballons 2 crevés l’autre en fin de vie, une balle de golf pour 18 clubs cassés, raquettes de ping pong pareil baby foot de recup je pense Toboggan fermé à 17h30 là personne qui surveille ne sert à rien emploi fictif aucun maître nageur c’est la honte, piscine extra salé lunette obligatoire, pas propre insalubre, nourriture passable le soir changé deux fois de chambre les murs sont en papier du coup énervement avec le voisinage super les vacs. J’ai demandé deux fois la voiture de golf pour remontés ont me dit quel est occupé en montant à pied je m’aperçois quel est devant en attente

Nous avons séjourné au club Elounda Water Park Résidence pendant 16 jours (deuxième partie du mois d'août). Un temps magnifique avec une vue magnifique sur la baie d'Elounda et l'ile de Spinalonga. La nourriture était bonne mais il faudrait peut être un peu plus la variée. Les différentes piscines permettent de ne pas êtres les uns sur les autres. Notre logement (210) était moderne et spacieux (2 chambres en duplex) avec terrasse et balcon. L'equipe de direction est a l'écoute des clients. Une fabuleuse équipe d'animation pour des activités variées. Un très grand merci pour la bonne humeur, l'énergie, l'humour, le plaisir de partager à Maureen, Jade, Emma, Zoé et Mimi.

Chambre pas comme sur le site accès difficile et haut à la 109 donc c’était la dernière construction les chambres était catastrophique franchement les lits pas confortable 2 lits simple d adultes relié par un grand drap et 2 canapé dur comme du béton pour les petites pas de clim dans la chambre l évier qui ressort l eau par un trou au sol dans la salle de bain qui ferme pas et qui est toilette aussi !!! super ! Pas de pression à la douchette , mauvaise isolation on entant tous les gens marcher courir parler voilà
