Vasia Ormos Hotel (Adults Only)

Dejligt hotel, særligt hvis man ikke har noget imod den 30 minutters gåtur til centrum af Agios Nikolaos.

we spent 10 nights our welcome at 3am in the morning was warm , friendly and helpful and check in was quick. the rooms are immaculate and roomy .this is a lovely hotel but could be fabulous with just a few tweeks . could do with music round the pool and perhaps more going on in the hotel on a night time . the staff are lovely and very helpful. food was on the whole lovely and plenty of choices . hotel is in a beautiful location .

I have to agree with Alexandra G further down the reviews. It has been the most relaxing and chilled week we have had almost anywhere. Hotel is kept clean, I couldn’t believe how often our room was serviced by the most lovely lady. All staff excellent and helpful. Pool area so quiet and plenty of comfortable loungers. Location is great, little bay of St Nikolaos. Bars and social areas are really nice. We were B&B and cannot fault the breakfast selection and attentive staff. Thank you to all at Vasia Ormos

l just had a wonderful 12-day stay at Vasia Ormos Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel has the most friendly and most attentive staff I have ever encountered. They take care of every request immediately and go the extra step for you! Beautiful and bright rooms and very clean. The snack bar opens right after breakfast which is very convenient. The garden is just amazing and creates a soothing atmosphere, and the view on the little bay is something you wish you could take home. I am planning to go back there...

Our room was right at the back of the hotel and very dark. Absolutely no sun on the terrace. On our first morning the shower did not drain but to be fair they sent someone to fix it immediately. Pools were freezing! Pool bar very expensive and no atmosphere. You felt like you couldn’t have a drink round the pool as no tables available. We asked to be moved after 3 days and the Manager gave us a much brighter room. Breakfast was good and most of the staff were lovely. Location good opposite a lovely little beach and 40 min walk into town but along the road. No sandals or shorts allowed in restaurant or lounge bar after 6.30 not that we ever went. Room cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed daily. Would have liked to spend more time round the pool but felt it far too expensive and formal. The girl behind the bar the one time we went was very miserable and unfriendly. Could be much nicer with a few changes here and there.

What a super find. Had a really lovely "girls" short break. Two 50 somethings at last celebrating our birthday's together. From the moment I contacted the hotel to ask to pop some fizz in our room for arrival, the manager and his team could not do enough for us. Our room had the most amazing view over the bay. Perfectly placed on a small harbor, the hotel boasts two pools and its own little sandy beach. Half board, the breakfast had all you could ask for, I even had expert omelet making tuition. Dinners were a simple buffet but the food was very good. A taxi into the town was 8euro but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and if energetic the walk will take half an hour or so... we had the best of both worlds, quiet when we wanted it and the buzz of the town if we felt like it. Thanks to all, we had a lot of fun. x
