Not quite sure where to start with this hotel, but I will start by saying it is a 3 star hotel at a push. The rooms are very run down, the showers are lukewarm at best (we had 2 warm showers throughout our entire 7 day stay), and the daily 'clean' of the room was laughable. Whilst we got fresh towels every couple of days, our sheets were never changed, our bed was either not made at all, or made very roughly & the bathrooms or surfaces were never cleaned. We got given one free bottle of water each upon arrival, and was told any more water we would have to pay for. While you were allowed tap water at breakfast, you were not allowed tap water at your evening meal, which, considering they have it available, is a bit out of order. However, the rooms were not the worst thing about this hotel. The food was at best passable. I am a pescatarian and the options for my diet were extremely limited. When we made the hotel aware of my diet we were told that the menu is based on what the chef can get hold of, and despite being on the seafront, we only had fish on one evening (which was completely inedible as it was coated in salt). When we asked to see what the menu was, we were told there was no menu, and we would get what we were given. The vegetarian options were extremely limited, plain and incredibly salty, often consisting of beans in a tomato sauce, boiled rice with boiled vegetables, pizza, or penne pasta in a tomato sauce. Everything was so salty that I often just had the Greek salad (which was nice) and plain bread. There was one evening, however, in which they did stuffed tomatoes and Greek peppers which, while salty, was ok. My partner had the same opinion of the meat (I.e. it being incredibly salty), and that it was often overcooked, but there were more options for meat-eaters. Considering the proximity of the sea, it would've been nice to have more fish options rather than the same dishes repeated multiple times over the period of a week. In addition, the food was ALWAYS cold. Regardless of whether you arrived as soon as the food was put out, or whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything was cold. The breakfast was more edible, but the same options were available every single day, and again it was all cold, so it would've been nice to have more of a variety. In terms or service, it was a bit of a mixed bag: some staff were friendly, whilst others were very stand offish and generally quite rude. We certainly would not recommend this hotel and we definitely won't be returning.
