Hampton Inn Adel

As a family of 5 traveling, I was led to believe we were getting a 2 queen with sofa room. There was no sofa and 2 queen beds does not sleep 5 people as Hilton would suggest. Our son had to sleep on a pallet we made from thin hotel blankets. We only had 2 towels in our room that was supposed to be set up for 5 guests. “Hot” breakfast was cold. The “updates” looked like they had been done overnight and poor quality. The walls are thinner than most, the room next to us sounded like they were doing construction.

We were in the area for a short visit and chose the Hampton for name recognition since we were not familiar with the neighborhood. An all around good stay. No surprise as expected. The pool however was closed. Nice breakfast area kept clean and continually filling empty spots.

CONS: I Reserved a hotel in Adel, GA for 6.29.24. I checked in via app on 6.28.24 and got to the hotel at 2:50 PM (check in is at 3PM) only to find 3 workers standing around chatting and advised me that "only the sheets needed to be changed" and the clerk said asked if we had to go somewhere and if we could come back. Shockingly we left and returned back to find out that our room was missing a shower curtain, bathtub rug and a major leak from bathroom faucet that leaked all on the floor (used towel and garbage can for catch the leak-glad I didn't slip and fall) There were only 3 towels in the room for a 2 queen bed room?!?! Front desk had to call off duty manager to find out where an extra shower curtain was and this took about 3 hours and when we were downstairs letting her know about the leak, she handed us the shower curtain and asked us to hang up ourselves. When the reservation was made, it said nothing about the pool being out of service online! I promised my granddaughter to go swimming, VERY upsetting! it appeared the pool just needed to be cleaned. Front desk said it was out of service for weeks. Later than night, I called front desk to see if they can bring me some bath towels and she asked if I could come down to get them. I went down to get the towels (in my pajamas) and she only had ONE towel available and stated that "housekeeping was behind", then stated, do you want to change rooms (this was 11:30PM). Why this was never offered before is mindboggling. The hair conditioner bottle was empty in the shower. The next morning, I saw a customer fixing the waffle dispenser that took about 15-20 minutes and we almost missed breakfast. I blame this on poor management. Hotel managers are responsible for training workers to have customer service, duly do their job correctly and with customer service. It's like the staff could not think out of the box or have customer service. PROS: cold air conditioner and hot water

There must have been some sort of water damage at this property. The mildew smell, and evidence of flooding always all over the hotel. Room was absolutely fine-and clean-the pool was empty. (It was 90 degrees) and the breakfast was the skimpiest I have ever seen at a Hampton. I have been a loyal Hampton customer for the past 20 years. This Hampton is by far the lowest quality one I have ever stayed in.

The hotel was dingy; the entrance had been flooded somehow (zero rain). The sheets and bathtub felt like they hadn't been cleaned. The pool was closed and empty! It's not a good place to stop off 75; skip it! Tifton, GA is just North; save your money and you will have way better options / experience!

I rarely write bad reviews but our last stay was so unsatisfactory I wanted to warn potential guests this hotel is not being maintained at the same high standard as in the past. We have stayed at this hotel for years, at least 8 years and the change between this year and last was remarkable. First, the air conditioner made a racket that continued all night. The shower screamed so loud that I hoped whoever was next to us had not gone to bed; adjusting the temp/flow did not do anything except change the pitch. When I went to get into bed the carpet next the bed was soaked - I mean squishing wet not damp. I hoped it was water and not dog pee. There were only two towels for the 2 of us so we did not have an extra to put on the floor. Only two towels - really? There was a black stain on the coverlet. There were two packs of coffee in the room- nothing else. Not creamer, stirrers, sugar, nothing. In the morning I thought about taking a quick swim and glad I checked it out because there was only a dirty puddle in the bottom of the pool. The pool has always been open by now in the past. I advised the staff in the morning of the issues and all I got was a 'thank you", no apology, no price adjustment, not even an offer of extra points. My brother stayed in a room down the hall and he said his room was also unsatisfactory. With tax AND AAA discount this room was almost $200.00 a night, we certainly expected more for that price! Do not stay here - it is not the same hotel.

No hot water, front desk was indifferent to my problem. Room wasn't ready at checkin time. Have been a Hilton honors member for some time now, seems the quality of rooms and employees are lacking, especially at these prices. They could only change my room, which was inconvenient after being on the road all day and another travel day tomorrow. Pack up move to another room and unpack again. Might be time to book elsewhere going forward.

I sm so dissspointed in this and other Hampton inns. I have stayed in them for years for both business and pleasure in many different states. This one was typical. Poor reception. Borderline rude. Noisy rooms. Terrible “free” breakfast. $140 a night and fake orange juice. Cheap plastic utensils. Fake eggs. No bacon or sausage. Switching to Marriott.

Awesome staff, extremely clean room, great breakfast. Felt like home. Really enjoyed our stay! Thank you. Had a quiet night's rest that was well earned. Felt safe and no worries. This staff is awesome😀Would definitely recommend and absolutely stay again .
