Hotel Suite Villa Maria

Had villa 40 which was super. Great to have the benefit of a 5 star resort while being able to eat in as an alternative. Overall a super resort. Only slight negative is the gym is a bit tight but other than that 10/10. Would definitely go back again.

The Villa Maria is a fantastic place to stay all the staff are really good Joel and Roman make fabulous cocktails in the new upstairs bar , Laura and Raff make sure that nothing is too much trouble, all the reception staff are very helpful including the guys that run you up to your villas , not forgetting Julio and Norman in the blue restaurant and the two fantastic ladies Gisselle and Mariana in the La Tatoria restaurant, thank you all and we look forward to seeing you all again in May . The wood party.

Our 3-bed villa was immaculate and stylish, our pool was fab; big enough to have a little swim up and down, clean and with safe, built-in steps to get in and out. Didn't use big pool, but looked lovely and never many people round it. There's a free shuttle bus twice a day down to Playa del Duque and back which was really useful. The whole resort was immaculately kept. Housekeeping staff were v efficient, even though we took advantage of the green scheme to opt out on couple of days in exchange for credit at the bar!. Food in both restaurants, including breakfast buffet, was excellent, and serving staff were friendly and hardworking (shout out to the barman with beard, didn't catch his name sorry, but he was so lovely and made sure my cocktails were perfect for me!) All staff were great (inc shuttle bus drivers, gardeners, catering) running out of superlatives to describe it all, but special mention to Marian, Arianna and Antonia in reception/guest services. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Villa Maria, and will definitely be returning next year if not before!

Great hotel with lovely grounds and excellent service. Our 2 bed apartment was generous size - on 2 levels with a balcony and patio area, views across to the sea. Food was very good and staff very helpful - both in the restaurants and throughout the hotel. Would definitely like to visit again in future.

As we stayed the same time last year at Villa Maria Suites, we were so looking forward to returning!! Our stay was just as good as last year maybe even better!! This hotel is just outstanding!! The rooms/villas are out of this world, so much space and we love the garden. The villa we had had all new garden furniture, which was classy looking and very comfortable. The one bedroom villas has two bathrooms, lounge area, small kitchen, with all the essentials you need and is all kept beautifully clean and tidy from housekeeping every day. All the grounds, gardens, pool areas etc. are all keep so lovely. The location is perfect just 10 minute walk to La Caleta. There is a taxi rank at the bottom of the hill, if you don't fancy the walk back. Breakfast is served until 10 am and the choice is amazing. Cooked Omelettes, eggs, cereals, fruit, pastries, the list just goes on!! The new addition to this year is the upstairs outside bar, which has been wonderfully done the decor/furniture looks wonderful and just has the best bar staff Joel makes great cocktails and is an asset to the hotel along with the D.J. Pablo (Sunday to Thursday) who plays great music and played quite a few of our requests...Thank you both :-) The Blue Oasis pool side restaurant is excellent too and we ate there lots during our stay at the hotel. Julio, Norman,Constantine and all the staff sorry I didn't get your names, but all we were so helpful and friendly. In fact all the staff at this hotel are so great and what make this hotel so good! From the moment we arrived and had a warm welcome from the reception staff to the moment we left. As you might be able to tell? We loved it so much? We have already booked to return for next year.
