On April 9, 2022, my wife and I stayed at Quality Inn in Acworth, Ga. We wanted an early start to the next morning. During the night, 10:30pm., a person came into our room startling us awake. Quickly this person left after I confronted him. When we left at 4am, our room key no longer worked as we loaded our car. Communicating to the person on staff was useless as he offered no help from what happened hours earlier. My wife was so frightened she never went back to sleep, but the person at the front desk didn't seem to care or even know what to do. We followed up with the hotel manager, again no apology after they had double booked the room, and she offered little help to make the situation right. After a number of phone calls, I asked for the general manager to call me, never happened. In the business world protecting one's reputation after making such a terrible mistake would be a priority, but not for this hotel chain. They didn't apologize and eventually offered a 50% refund. If you have a family with children, or you are an older couple, I strong recommend not staying at this hotel. The rooms are only fair, but the service and safety are poor.
