Mar Azul en Acapulco

First time to Acapulco & Mar Azul! Love it! Traded in with Interval for the week of Easter! The one bedroom was spacious for the two of us. Pull out couch was used by my friend & was comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything needed. Water is purified for drinking. Victor, Emilio, Alex, & Gladys we’re all nice & helpful anytime we needed. The area was never too crowded. The building is a bit dated however the rooms are not. Everything on site is clean. Always able to get beach chairs and pool loungers! There is a pool bar with a few munchies & drinks. This was a very relaxing vacation. Got massages on the beach from nice ladies for a great price. Good to also note the place still does daily housekeeping service if wanted. For airport pickup, we used Sebastián. He was very communicative, arrived on time, and friendly. We had a time delay with our flight & it was not a problem for him to work around it. He pointed out certain places for us to check out & also does lots of tours. Unfortunately I was a bit under the weather during our stay so we weren’t able to do any of the additional tours however they all look really fun & are great prices! We timeshare exchanged for a 1 bedroom with full kitchen the week before Christmas 2022. Mar Azul is located on a great stretch of beach on Bahia Santa Maria. Our view from the 9th floor was amazing with unobstructed views of the entire bay. The unit was up to date with appliances, utensils, and a very nice king bed. The den furniture lacks comfort but its appearance was good. The staff, especially daytime desk/concierge Eliud, were all very friendly and took great care of us. Eliud can set you up with any activity you are looking for. Highly suggest the city/bay tour with Gustavo who speaks very good English. Location in the tourist area was easily accessible by foot to numerous restaurants, shopping and clubs. The only complaint was the all-night noise level from the clubs which were several hundred yards away from Mar Azul.

The trip was wonderful. The facilities were very clean and very secure. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Was not crowded. The beach was clean and the water sparkling blue. Eliud Arredondo C. was a gracious host! He made sure everything went perfect. Eliud even took us sight seeing, on a sunset cruise, dancing, to The Cross of Acapulco, Los Flamingos, grilled our Mahi Mahi and much more!! Dinner at La Perla and watching the cliff divers is a must do.He also introduced us to Gustavo the taxi driver. Gustavo was so polite, his cab was clean and he was always on time. Going to Acapulco and stay at Mar Azul should be on everyone's bucket list no matter if you are a couple, married single or a family. When you to to Acapulco mark sure you ask for Eliud Arredondo and Gustavo they will make your trip a vacation of a life time!!

I truly would love to recommend this place to everybody i chose it because reviews were good .we love this place the staff excepcional the views breathtaking security great and location phenomenal the condo in great shape and cleanliness excepcional pool great and cozy has huts on beach for shade chairs everything awesome was truly incredible vacation you wont be disappointed they also have bar food during the day stores are walking distance and restaurants and nightlife too

This resort was an almost perfect place to spend a beautiful week enjoying the ocean. The resort is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and willing to assist with requests. The daily room cleaning was a nice surprise, since so many places seem to have done away with this. The unit was bright, large, well stocked with kitchen/bathroom essentials and had a perfect view of the water. The resort is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, pharmacies, taxis, etc. The downside is the location close to bars which are open all night and play loud music until 4 am. This noise overshadowed the sounds of the waves and oceans which was desired. The other annoyance was lack of water pressure in the shower.

The condo was clean and well appointed for all of our needs. Don Eliud and the front desk staff were immensely helpful in helping us arrange everything from daytrips to COVID testing to bolillos! Our family had a wonderful vacation in part because of the ease and accessibility gained through the condo. The knowledgeable and ever-present staff (including Silvia the housekeeper) lent us trust to let our kids have a little more freedom and relax. We'll definitely be back!
