Basic but clean Clean and comfortable. We were able to park on the street right outside the hotel. It doesn’t have its own parking area. The problem was I didn’t realize it had a shared bathroom…it taught me a lesson to ensure future bookings are en-suite.

A real Jem This Hotel is a real jewel to find in Aberystwyth. The room is as very comfy and clean. There was very little noise from other guests. My stay was topped off with an excellent Breakfast

This hotel is situated just a throw away from the seafront. Clean, amenities aplenty, even had a sea view! Shame we didn’t have our WC and bathroom (would have brought a bathrobe!) but we just didn’t realized when booking. It wasn’t a big deal to be fair. Breakfast was delicious, nice coffee and meat was locally sourced which we appreciated. Parking on the road wasn’t an issue either. They have a nice booklet with restaurants recommendations.

I gave this a full five because honestly I’d have to really look hard for negatives. I stayed for 3 nights in a triple room with my mother in law as father in law is in hospital nearby. We needed a comfortable nearby place to stay. I usually go for Bosnias type hotels or travel lodge etc but we choose GwesTY as it is right at the sea. The room was cosy and really clean and tidy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and lovely tea coffee and confectionery station. We had a private bathroom which was fine but we also used the communal walk in shower which was clean and spacious. They let you get on with self serve for keys and things but you definitely felt the staff were present if you needed assistance. The breakfast looked incredible and staff were super obliging to meet requests. Quality items used such as top branded tea and coffee and locally sourced meets of high quality. It was quiet in and outside of the guest house, and yes the sound of the sea at night was a welcome way to drift off to sleep. I worked a little from here and the WiFi was great! I would 100% book this again and will miss our little 3 night safe haven, at a difficult time this was just what we needed.
