Gwesty Guest House

I gave this a full five because honestly I’d have to really look hard for negatives. I stayed for 3 nights in a triple room with my mother in law as father in law is in hospital nearby. We needed a comfortable nearby place to stay. I usually go for Bosnias type hotels or travel lodge etc but we choose GwesTY as it is right at the sea. The room was cosy and really clean and tidy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and lovely tea coffee and confectionery station. We had a private bathroom which was fine but we also used the communal walk in shower which was clean and spacious. They let you get on with self serve for keys and things but you definitely felt the staff were present if you needed assistance. The breakfast looked incredible and staff were super obliging to meet requests. Quality items used such as top branded tea and coffee and locally sourced meets of high quality. It was quiet in and outside of the guest house, and yes the sound of the sea at night was a welcome way to drift off to sleep. I worked a little from here and the WiFi was great! I would 100% book this again and will miss our little 3 night safe haven, at a difficult time this was just what we needed.

A lovely guest house right on the sea front. Parking on the street outside….Comfy beds, a fantastic breakfast! Really friendly place…. Listening to the waves as you wake up… Will be back again… great stopover as we drove up through Wales.. thank you for a great stay!

Everything was good. Sink in the room and shower and toilets in the hall shared. Breakfast was good. Self check in. Fold left on desk you sign the form and the keys are in your envelope. I would stay there again if I am in the neighborhood. It is just steps from the beach

I had a good stay in this guesthouse. My room was nicely furbished and well equipped. However, the bathroom needed a bit of modernisation (there was no shower, only a bath). The communal areas also need a bit of updating, although they weren't too bad considering the price (£80/night including breakfast). Breakfast was very nice, although a few guests had to wait one morning as they ran out of tables. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location is also very good.

The rooms were very clean plenty of room tea and coffee facilities in the room offer free toiletries ironing board and iron and hair dryer the breakfast outstanding and the staff welcoming enjoyed our few days there well positioned for the harbour and the pier

Nice room with sea view and right at sea front and next to castle. Bed was a bit on small side for a double. Good breakfast. Contactless check in which I had not come across before. Parking nearby was difficult but it was a weekend and apparently a school break. Could do with non slip mat in bath/ shower.
