Very nice and familiar hotel well located with a nice pub and dinner downstairs. It’s ideal as base to explore the region

Absolutely great place to stay. Easy check in, easy parking, wonderful clean rooms, wonderful views and a great restaurant. Great choice of beers and whiskies (The latter does not offer discount on a double) Breakfast was wonderful and yes a great hotel, will definitely stay again

Went here Sunday lunch was worst ever had processed pork frozen veg ? And Not cheap wish had gone elsewhere only good thing was view sea from outside before we went in and beer cider was ok but did not make up for awefull food there’s better cheaper options in Aber

First of all, location of this pub/restaurant/hotel is great, just by the sea promenade! Staff were really friendly throughout my visit and the hotel was well maintained. My room was on the third floor, keep in mind that it's a bit of a climb to get up there, if you have a lot of luggage or find it difficult with stairs, I would recommend the first floor. Room itself was very clean, while small, it was well planned and the bed was comfortable. Sea view was amazing, you could hear the waves roll in! Bathroom was also small but fine, shower was great! Only downside apart from being quite small was that the windows were quite dirty, which was a shame given the view! Breakfast was very tasty, felt like quality food! I also had one dinner and it was also good, with a fine selection of ales to choose from.

We stay in many good hotels. This was perfect. Fab location and sea view; great ambience and decor and room; great and choice; the very best of bright attentive and caring staff; invisible management - very hard to get all these things right and at a modest price. My daughter and I stayed in The Glengower this past Friday night in a twin room. The room was comfortable and provided everything we needed for our short stay. Despite it being a busy Friday evening when we arrived (the ground floor pub & restaurant was packed), we were seen really quickly (online pre-check is available & really easy to use) and the room was very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious, with a range of options available including a full veggie breakfast. A perfect location on the seafront too! I remember The Glen from my student days and I enjoyed it then too, but I'm pleased to see how much it's changed.

Good food good service and a lovely place to eat. Sea views and tastefully decorated. Has a super atmosphere. We shared a whitebate starter. I the. Had the scampi and my partner had the chicken pie and mash. All of it was scrumptious and reasonably priced.

Having been a student in Aber ‘The Glen’ was the obvious choice for accommodation for a hall reunion. It’s certainly been renovated since my last experience and has been finished to a high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it serves some great food including breakfast for residents. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would recommend and will return for another stay in the future.

We have just had a very nice overnight stay at the Glengower and were delighted at the level of service and quality of our room. The bar, lounge and dining areas were also excellent as was the level of service and the friendly, warm welcome from their staff. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
