What can I say. From the friendliest welcome, to the cosy, clean comfortable rooms, THIS is the place to stay in Abersoch!!!! I was originally booked in a hotel across the road, got to the room as hit by a horrendous damp, mouldy smell. No way could we have stayed there. Then along came the Egryn to the rescue! Booked on the day, the lady who greeted us was SOOOOO lovely, saw the room and it’s perfect. Spotless, all the facilities we need including a fridge in the room. WiFi throughout the hotel. Amazing location, beautiful sea view. Looking for a place to stay in Abersoch village, then I definitely recommend The Egryn!

Brilliant location / room and en suite . Highly recommend for a stay in Abersoch. Super clean , very easy check in and car parking. Brilliant value for our night away an so close to the pubs/ restaurants and access to the beach. Owners managed a switch to a better room free of charge for my wife’s birthday too.

Visited for an evening meal July 2024. The service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Both the Robinsons Unicorn and Dizzy Blonde were well kept and served on form. The food menu offered a good selection, including a few seafood options. It was also very fairly priced. £4.40 per pint is reasonable for the area. I would certainly come back here.

My husband and I had a wonderful nights stay at Egryn House. We were checked in by Lynn and checked out by Mike and they are the most welcoming of couples. We had a lovely room on the top floor with stunning views! There’s a fridge and some other nice touches that all add to a delightful stay and with a 10 minute walk to the beach and everything else within walking distance it really is the perfect place! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Booked for two nights, aware that breakfast was not available. Was still expensive but I figured the rooms would be plush, given the star rating. Room was small and cramped and the leatherette chair very tatty. Not a great first impression. Bathroom was tiny and poorly designed - I've rented motorhomes with better facilities. Room had coffee plunger and breakfast bowls and a microwave. However, without anywhere suitable to wash dishes, this is a meaningless gesture. Room was not refreshed after the first night. Aside the excellent location, I can't think of anything positive. Caveat emptor.

My husband Tony and I had a lovely stay at The Egryn recently. The room was spacious,beautifully decorated with fabulous sea views.The amenities were excellent.The car park was easy and convenient. We enjoyed meeting the wonderful owners/hosts Mike and Lynne. We highly recommend The Egryn.We look forward to the next visit.

Lovely little pub with quirky seating nooks, great food & extremely reasonably priced. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The sauce with the scallops was delicious! The choice of starters was great but incredibly hard to choose between - I could have tried them all! I would definitely recommend just ensure you book in advance as even midweek, term time, the place was full.

Like to thank Mike for his help with my booking as I needed 3 rooms which he amazing sorted out. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and had great view (apart from the rain). We loved the flexibility of the check in system . I have stayed in the past and would always recommend the Egryn . Mike is a great host and always welcoming. Thanks again .. Christine, Amanda and co
