Aberdeen (Westhill) arvostelua

I have stayed here many times in the past,I never had a bad room and the staff are always first class,it always used to serve the best breakfast in Aberdeen,but this time it was awful,thick congealed fatty bacon and the worst tasting sausages I ever had they had a really funny rotten taste off them,I couldn’t eat them at all even when smothered in brown sauce,like the worst sausages you could buy from Netto! The room in fact the whole hotel had no heating on,I asked for heating and the girl arrive with two oil filled radiators which were fine for me,just be aware,breakfast finishes at 0900! The restaurant was good and again the staff were excellent,because of the breakfast I will be staying in the Holiday inn down the road next time,sorry,a good place ruined by bad management.

The room was smelly and mouldy. The window had mould too. The shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor. My room was on the second floor, and as soon as you get of the lift you'll see a dirty carpet, and further you go it gets filthier and smelly. There was no-one in reception to talk to when I left

We have stayed at Premier Inns many times and been very satisfied. This time the room we were allocated was in the"new wing" (8 years old!) On reaching the corridor there was a very bad smell which was also in our room. We returned to reception and asked for a change of room. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a room in the older part which was fine. The same smell was present in the new wing on that floor too. Apparently it is due to the glue used on laying the carpet. The staff are constantly using air fresheners but they have limited (no?) effect. We were told others have complained about the smell too. In short if staying make sure your room number is less than 122 or 222!

As the title suggests standard premier inn with the facilities you would expect, enough parking and a restaurant next door. The hotel has an agreement for breakfast but not evening meal so you will need to book that yourself with the Shepherds Rest. The pub/restaurant is excellent though and if you’re just passing through there is a McDonald’s and Starbucks just down the road on a business park.

The bed was great. The welcome and staff were great. Cooked food at breakfast could be vastly improved. A fire alarm was triggered by somebody purported to be smoking in their room at 6.30 one morning. When challenged (room 109) he was found to be the coach driver who was very aggresive. He acted like a little boy who didn't want to be found out saying that he was shaving at the time. Apparently, deodorant had been used in 109 to mask the smell of smoking. This man was the coach driver and he then proceded to idle his coach engine keeping many of us awake.

No fans available at reception .Room to hot .No sleep over both nights . Very limited choice at breakfast

Staying with many other couples and groups of friends at this hotel for a local event. We do this a good few times during the summer. Normally just for one or two nights at a time making use of the hotel restaurant and bar. One of the main requirements is good parking and security. Both were OK at this venue but could be better with larger spaces and gated entry.

Looking a bit shabby of late. The rooms are clean, however a bit dingy. The outside woodwork has not been painted since the place was built and window frames are now rotting and with bare wood and thick with moss. Our room had a blown double glazing panel and was heavily frosted-up, the net curtain was torn too. Very convenient for tourists heading west and also business travellers. The Green King Sheperd's Rest pub next door provide breakfast and evening meals. On the whole not one of Premier Inn's best, but it is very popular and full most days.

We came to Aberdeen to celebrate a family wedding and the hotel was clean the staff were welcoming and helpful the food was lovely and there was a pub quiz on, very lovely memories of this premier inn

This hotel was much better than expected. It was cheap and my expectations were exceeded. The room was newly refurbished, clean and nice. Would stay there again when I am passing trough.

Rooms are very basic but very comfortable with a full bathroom. We were visiting our sick relative and having travelled a long way, we were less than an hour before the official check in time and we were told it would be an extra £10 per room even though the rooms were ready! We just wanted to check in and leave straight away to visit our relative, we knew we wouldn't be back till late that evening. A bit more care and consideration would have been nice, maybe a bit of flexibility to customers needs rather than just black or white company policy. It goes a long way! Makes customers want to return.

This was the poorest breakfast we have ever had at a Premier Inn. The food was cold, it looked like it was there for a long time. We had to mention that there was no food in some of the trays. There were a few dirty plates stacked with the clean ones. The cleaner that cleaned the toilet then proceeded to clean the tables in the same apron. This is not the standard you normally get from the Premier Inn

Room was clean. Staff very friendly. Quality of the pillows were rubbish. Other than that had a pleasant stay.. the breakfast was fab! My son didn’t want to wake up and come for breakfast but the staff gave me a take away bag and cup so I could take breakfast to the room for him which I found fantastic they offer this.. dinner was ok I ordered fillet steak and it was pretty rubbish to fair. Fatty over cooked. Just wasn’t a great cut off steak for £24 I was starving and had been travelling over 2 hours so didn’t complain. My son ordered a juice and we waited to order when they brought the juice, but 20 mins later I had to go to the bar and order and ask for the juice which had been sitting on the bar the full time. I would go back but I would take my own pillow and not pay for steak. X x

Westhills Premier Inn was clean, calm, organised and comfortable. Everything we expect of Premier Inns. The restaurant associated was not one of Premier Inn’s own restaurant and was chaotic. Ran out of items on the menu at 7pm! Both nights! Ran out of butter completely! Ran out of plates and cutlery. Such a shame it’s not a premier inn restaurant. We got by!
