Premier Inn Aberdeen North - Bridge of Don

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the location was perfect for us visiting friends. Things we did not like, the hotel wanted £15 to give us a room key 45 minutes early. Our room was available and already cleaned, we travelled 6 & half hours via car and made good time. Upon check in we was not informed of breakfast time and where breakfast was located, we went down twice to ask but nobody on reception. Our room had a hole in the ceiling from a leak although that did not bother us. At 2am the room got extremely hot (24° and 28.5°!) even though our thermostat was turned down to 16. Tried to run a bath on the last morning but there was no hot water. Overall an average stay.

Standard old school premier inn, table table next door for usual premier inn breakfast. Hotel a bit tired, but rooms clean, good mattress and pillows and had a great sleep. Large carpark but limited disabled spots (x3) and badged parking was not policed.

The attached restaurant stops serving food at 9pm and last orders at the bar are at 9.25pm. It would have been helpful to be informed of that at check in - we weren't. Also, I'm glad we did not purchase the meal deal, as we would have had issues getting a meal that we'd already paid for, due to the early closing. The Premier Inn advertises that the restaurant is open until 11.30pm. The Table Table website also says that the restaurant is open until 11.30pm. Why do both websites have the incorrect opening times on them? I would not have stayed at this hotel if I'd known the bar closed at 9.25pm and food stopped at 9pm, as we knew we would arrive late (which is why we checked the restaurant times before we stayed at the hotel). The restaurant staff acted like they did us a favour when they allowed us to get a desert at 9.15pm, having not told us that the kitchen closes at 9pm. When the bell went for last orders at 9.25pm (before our deserts had even arrived), I was dumbfounded. The food that we did get was very poor, small portions and just seemed to be deep fried. The pizza that I was served was tepid at best. Just all round poor quality. Very, very disappointing.

Booked room for 4/1/2025 Bridge of Don Aberdeen . Ill health meant it was not possible to attend so contacted hotel over a week in advance to cancel and see if I could cancel . I was advised I could but asked could I exchange the costs onto a voucher instead as I didn’t know what dates I could make . After that email I sent my other 3 emails regarding this were just ignored as was my one asking for head office email address to bring it up with them . As was a further email to a feedback form on head office site raising the question . Very poor customer service from Bridge of Don Aberdeen and also premier Inn itself .

Top service for dinner tonight. Lightning fast and mega friendly service from Jodie our server. Very reasonable prices for simple hearty food. Liked the room configuration with plenty tables offering privacy from other diners. Would recommend the Caramel Apple Betty with custard as a desert.

Got what you expect from Premier Inn. Breakfast was spot on, dinner did the job. Bed mattress was too firm for my liking but room was cosy and clean. Hotel was well situated for us, would stay again should we visit Aberdeen again with our young family.
