This obviously old motel stands beside a busy highway with limited landscape buffering from the nondescript ***** center environment. Parking outside the room completes a scene that that could be from a 1960s movie except for the orange-brown color heralding Indian ownership. Smooth check-in focused on the trainee at the register, not the customer. The small room was clean, although it had a strong smell of chemicals until we aired it out. Everything was adequate except for a sink control handle so loose that getting hot water was almost impossible. We figured out how, although it was a tricky situation. I made the conscious decision not to spend the evening involving employees and fussing with it; we made it through the night. Window curtains would not wrap around the ends on their rods, so complete darkness and privacy were impossible. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. That is about what we got. It was our second sub-par motel experience with Quality Inn in 2023, one in Texas and this one in North Carolina. I think it will be the last.

Checked in for one night. Very misleading. This is a motel not a hotel. The room was not updated at all front door had giant stains on it, the walls were painted orange and not white or cream as shown in the photos, bathroom door near the door knob had missing wood so door would not fully close. Only 2 towels. Outside light was flickering. Had people screaming "Do you want to fight?" and swearing in the parking lot and and to call the police. Very limited breakfast and chairs were upside down on the tables. Manager would not help with any situation. Run, away. My family did not feel safe.

An older property with an incomplete remodel. The appearance of the room was nice, but the carpet and bathroom door were wellworn. There were USB connections by the bed to charge your devices. The bed was slightly too firm for me, but still comfortable for a couple of nights. Everyone we met there - staff & guests - were very friendly and nice. There was good water pressure for the shower. There was plenty of parking and the building is far enough from the road to not have too much road noise. Overall it was a good stay. Demetry that checked us in is a treasure and will be an asset to wherever he works. Don't expect a fancy hotel and you'll be fine - it's just a place to sleep at night.

Front desk clerk noted my husband using a cane and switched our room to handicapped accessible. The location was perfect ! It was ground level and closest to the office/continental breakfast area. Room 101 was clean and nicely furnished. The handicapped shower was well maintained. Adequate towels and amenities. It was very quiet and comfortable king-size bed. The only downside was limited channels on the TV. Breakfast area was convenient and the waffles were great! Would stay there again.

We were traveling in a 'big truck' and needed room for parking, the manager came out and assisted in finding best parking area. He was very helpful. The room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Very good value for the money. It was also very close (walking distance) to many great restaurants and bars. We had a very nice time and never had to drive.

My 20 year old son had his 1st important interview in Aberdeen. I booked this room for him b/c he is living 5 hours away from the headquarters where he had to interview. This hotel is 5 minutes away. I read their policy said that you have to be 21 to check -in after I booked. So I called hotel Immediately. The GM said as long as my name and credit card was on file that he would make a note and there would be no problem. Well that was not the case. My son was spoken to rudely and the front desk was not helpful or welcoming to him. I understand that teens may have been a problem, however, he was under enough stress. With technology, I could have been contacted via zoom, google duo, FaceTime, Teams, etc so my face and license would be seen. Also, that is a terrible way to feel right before your first big interview. People should be treated respectfully regardless of their age.

Check in was OK, but she told me "the room was already pre registered for you" when I asked if I could get a room that I can just park and unload into on the ground level. Room itself was small, but nice. Internet was SUPER FAST, better then most any hotel or business. Chair/desk for my laptop was perfect. Shower/toilet area was tiny. Good water pressure/hot water. Bed and pillows were comfy. One drawback was I had an adjoining room, and I heard the TV of the room next to me. Even at 3am, it was on, then on again (or still) at 10am. Ran into housekeeping and a very nice lady asked me about my stay and how they are trying to improve and get their name out there. The property seems to care, which I like. Its nearby just about any restaurant or store you can think of, no noise issues however from the road. It felt like a former Red Roof Inn, but I see it was a Country Hearth Inn previously.

Yuck!!! First of all, the parking lot is a disaster of craters to drive through. Pave it already. No big deal. Super nice guy at check in. Very accommodating. Then there’s the room. Clean at first glance. Had to slam the door to get it to shut. This is room 110. The phone to call the front desk didn’t work. There was one washcloth for 2 people. And the one that was there had a brown stain on it. There were 4 towels but one washcloth. Makes no sense. I can get past that. The water pressure was terrible. I’m not even sure I took a shower. I was distracted by the rust on the ceiling. Then comes the flushing or lack there of the toilet. It took a minimum of 3 tries to flush it. Then, the mother of all problems, a ROACH on the bathroom wall. I called the front desk from my cell phone because the room phone didn’t work. The lady that answered the phone said she would leave a note for house keeping. We had other family at the motel this weekend and he had to go to the front desk to get towels. There was no one attending the desk. He found the managers business card at the desk, called the cell phone number listed, and within a minute, someone appeared. Magical huh?? It’s a shame to have to pay for such poor accommodations
