Arosfa Harbourside Guesthouse

We stayed one night (wish it had been more) in the 2-bedroom "suite" - very clean and comfortable, lots of nice touches and extras. Breakfast range and quality was one of the best I've experienced. Great location for both town and harbour, and the bonus of free parking right outside.

Great quirky room with all mod cons and gadgets. Looked like recent refurbishment. Great pub opposite. And best breakfast we've had in a long time. Full Welsh is superb and hearty, and arnold Bennett omelette was top notch, very talented chef.

It was wonderfully cool, quirky and comfortable. Bed comfy and huge. Breakfast great. Would stay again. Right in the town

Worst hotel I have stayed at in years!! I was put in a tiny single room, where you entered the room through the bathroom. After the bathroom, you walked through an extremely narrow door to a tiny room that looked like a closet. Tray filled with tea and coffee pots, but only one electric socket so I had to unplug tea pot. Tiny TV and a very worn out chair that was covered by an old cover and was badly sagged in the middle of the cushion. They post photos of most of their rooms, but for obvious reasons, no photos of this one are on their very fancy web site. Carpeting in room was dirty and spots of something on wall behind the bed, but a big sign by the hotel door asking you to take off your shoes and put on slipper or shoe covers!! Also, very thin walls, and I could hear EVERYTHING the couple next door was doing!! And to make things worse, the instructions for using the shower were confusing and when I went to take a shower very late, I tried everything but had to skip my shower. Older man who checked me in said to call him if I needed anything, but it was too late at night. And how do you call someone for a dirty carpeting and spots on the walls? He did help me find a parking spot and was very pleasant, but this hotel is very old and run-down.

It’s a lovely place to stay and the room was very clean and comfy. We didn’t have a great sleep as their are only blinds on the windows so it was like daylight from 5.30AM and their was painting being done outside our room and could smell it early on which was a shame. Overall I’d recommend the b and b and explore the area.
