Patrick est un excellent hôte passionné d'ornithologie et de pêche. Le camp et de bonne qualité et le personnel est agréable et professionnel. Tous ceux qui ont la chance d'avoir de bons repas à la maison seront très satisfaits de la qualité de la nourriture. Le guide de pêche a une bonne connaissance de la pêche, de la navigation et de l'environnement. Merci pour ce séjour très agréable. J'espère vous revoir bientôt. James

J'y ai séjourné 7 jours en pension complète et j'ai effectué 5 excursions ornithologiques. Le propriétaire Patrick Tourneur est une guide ornitho et un hôte hors pair. Le personnel est accueillant et la nourriture excellente. L’hôtel est situé en bord de mer derrière la dune sur un site boisé exceptionnel. La plage est magnifique et pratiquement déserte. Le petit village de pêcheurs d'Abéné est à environ 1 km de marche par la plage. J'y retournerai assurément lors d'une prochaine visite en Casamance.

I have been to this hotel every single time I have been to Senegal in Abene, ie. already for the sixth time. It's a great place with a simple but really nice hotel. It is located outside the village Abene, about 50 meters from the sea and has an incredibly beautiful view towards it but also in the other direction towards the forest. The restaurant is located on a terrace that is nicely furnished, a comfortable place to sit, eat and enjoy. It si free wifi there too, but not at the room. The hotel has two other buildings where there are rooms, a little further away from the restaurant, such typical Senegalese round houses with 6 rooms in one and maybe 4 rooms in the other. The rooms are not large, but comfortable and each has a private bathroom. Staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. I usually go travel with my friend who is disabled and staff always help me with him. The food is delicious, there is nothing to complain about. It's just that most of it is fish of course, and shrimp too. You can also do boat trips to nearby lagoons or bird watching etc. With that helps the owner Patrick, a very nice man, who is a good fisherman who teaches you to fish in case you are inexperienced. As well as taking you to the best places where you can see lots of different birds, sometimes even the occasional monkey. Patrick really could not find a nicer and better place for his hotel like this one. I highly recommend staying here not just one night but several days so you can really enjoy yourself.
