We have heard of Zhongshan hot spring resort and finally we got a chance to spend time here. The rooms are spacious, the bed is huge. All the staff is very supportive, including front desk and cleaners. The mini bus driver offered us a ride and took us to and fro the mountain. There is no need to say, that everything is nice and clean in the rooms. The breakfast was very good. Hot springs met our expectations. Everything was really nice and clean. Sauna and pools are great, we stayed as family and all of us including kids enjoyed it. Would we come back and recommend the place? Definitely, Yes! Thanks a lot to all the staff and see you later!

Very nice and relaxing resort. The playing area for kids is good, love the playground. Staff are nice and friendly. Tried the hair spa and it’s nice. Breakfast is good. Just the hot spring area is a bit small and not feel like having hot spring afterwards.

Room is big and clean. However, there is not enough reastaurants and eatery place. Location is not convenient for travellers via high speed train as it takes more than 40 minutes via Taxi. The Reception ladies at the hotel spring counter is very bad manners to customers. Re coffee shop breakfast in the morning, the food selection is mainly cater for tour group. For individual travellers, RMB128 per person breakfast charge is not worth the value. The coffee machine is very limited on choice of coffee and have to queue up quite long.

This hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff). There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.

Very nice hotel, situated next to Fumin metro station, service desk is very polite and reacts properly to comments or remarks. One thing I would point out is breakfast is not buffet as on pictures, it’s arranged KFC set meals, which not necessarily may fit needs of some people. Fortunately it was possible to refund breakfast fee and arrange it individually. Great choice. Hotel room is comfortable.

I visited Huidong Island Resort with my boyfriend for his birthday, and unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The biggest challenge was the language barrier - we don't speak Chinese, and it made navigating the resort extremely difficult. The resort's location seemed promising, but we encountered a significant issue with a local woman who scammed us for a boat ride. We were asked to pay 30RMB (the actual cost to the captain) and then she demanded an additional 200RMB to her own account. The language barrier made the situation confusing, and we only realized we'd been scammed after she had left. It was a disappointing start to our trip. Trying to make the best of it, we headed to the ocean for a swim the next day. However, after about 20 minutes, we were asked to exit the water due to a potential typhoon approaching. To add to the disappointment, the swimming pool was closed, and many amenities we had expected to be available weren't operational. This was pretty disappointing given they were part of why we chose the resort. On the bright side, the hotel room itself was very nice, and the breakfast was good. But overall, our experience fell short of expectations, largely due to the communication challenges and unavailability of advertised amenities. Would I recommend? Maybe not without significant improvements in addressing language barriers and ensuring advertised services are available. For travelers who speak Chinese or are prepared for such challenges, it might be a different story.

This was an AMAZING stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by Barry who was incredibly kind. He upgraded our room and gave us his WeChat in case we had any questions or issues during our stay. The resort itself was beautiful. Everyone was incredibly kind, there were a few included activities including a brief sunset lake cruise, pottery, and an exercise activity with a nice view at the end. While there were a handful of activities, they were all pretty brief. With this in mind, I think it is perfect for a 1-2 night stay. The highlight was definitely the hot springs, which offered a bunch of different springs at different temperatures as well as a pool and fruit bar. This stay was an incredible value for the money and I would DEFINITELY recommend. Thank you Barry!

Great hotel, very clean and cosy. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hot spring is clean and great. The park is great too. The breakfast buffet was amazing too. Abundant food, the staff was refilling the food constantly. Will definitely be back again. The best hotel I visited recently.

I visited this place as once 11 years ago. Many things haven't changed, which was nostalgic. However, a lot of things seem to be run a lot more chaotically and haphazardly than before. Half of the pools are closed outside of busy times. The rooms are more worn down. Etc. Not as nice as it once was, but not terrible either.
