They provide slippers and toothbrush but not towels. You can buy a disposable one for 5yuan at the counter. There were also no hand towel in the room even though there’s a sink, and no hand towel or paper even in the shared toilet! I think the toilet security could be better. The entrance of the women’s toilet faces the men’s room, and when I’m at the sink washing my hands or brushing my teeth, I feel awkward in my pyjamas when males open and close that door. In addition, there is NO locks in the shower cubicles, when I was showering, someone opened the door… and the shower doors are translucent, from the inside I could see people opposite me showering… it is a shared floor so I think adding a code for the entrance of the toilet or changing the doors of the showers to be opaque and with locks, would make it much safer

I arrived at the property at 7:00 AM and the door was locked. I called through the internet calling feature on the Trip app, and they answered very quickly. They also spoke English, which was impressive. I was able to check in early, which was great. The bed sheets needed to be put on by myself, but everything was clean. The room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom is shared, but it was convenient and clean. Soap is provided, but there are no towels. I stayed in a female-only room, which felt quite safe. I slept on the top bunk, and it was comfortable and warm. The location is excellent — very close to many important attractions. It’s a bit difficult to sleep during the day because there are many guests and it can be noisy, but at night it’s quiet. They also provide free toothbrushes at the counter. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price.

The location is great. The building this hostel is located looks a little creepy but once you go inside the hostel itself looks nice and clean. You get towels which is important. Nice staffs.

So far I stayed at two Desti locations. And I gotta say, this is literally the best hostel experience I have had in any of the countries I have visited so far, no exaggeration. Clean, spacious, beds are full 2 meters in length and offer proper comfort, you get slippers, towels, shampoo, there is a huge common room with activity options and occasional live music, and the experience really is social (if you want it to be) -- there are excellent opportunities to meet people to spend your holiday with. Thanks for the wonderful experiences I could make here :)

International girls, this place is amazing! I'm a foreigner and they had no trouble showing me around the hostel. Such a comfortable place, it felt more like a salon and a sleepover than a hostel, there were so many mirrors with lighting to sit and do your makeup and blow dry your hair. They even have sachets or period tea and warming pockets for your cramps. The staff are really friendly and sweet, I couldn't figure out how to use the app to wash my clothes so one of the girls at the front desk just paid for it for me. The boss sends fruit every day for all of the girls to share, everyone was sharing food from their day's adventures. Charging ports everywhere, a drama playing on the huge living room screen, a wall full of notes, easy shareable fridge. A lot of restaurants next door and cute coffee shops, almost any food you could imagine there'd be a restaurant selling it pretty close by. Lots of girls also just chilling with their delivery in the living room, which was also very convenient since they have a shelf outside for delivery orders, great vibe. I also appreciated that they ask you not to blow dry your hair or wash your clothes after midnight, much easier to sleep. I even met a friend here at the hostel, talked until 1 am in the comfy living room and we later met up to travel around Hangzhou the next week. A really nice place to stay!!

The facilities are quite new and the staff are helpful. They provide a towel, toothbrush and toothpaste. The area feels safe and is conveniently located near the railway station and shopping centre. This area is quite close to the former residence of the American writer Pearl Buck if you want to to visit. It’s free to enter the house and museum.

The host is nice and welcoming. It is quiet at night for rest. The bed and toilet are well cleaned. The place is well decorated. The location is near a bus station, but slightly distance from Metro.

Extremely kind staff; rooms equipped with everything a traveler needs, they really paid attention to the details and thought it through; very clean; great location including a nice view over Nanjing from the bathroom window in 20th floor. Can highly recommend and would come again!! 谢谢 :)

很少碰到這樣的青旅，真的舒服又安心，😭阿姨人特別好，熱情的我都有點不好意思，説話温柔又貼心，回來像在自己家一樣，和阿姨聊了很久的天，她説會下雨還把雨傘借給我用，還説桌子上的水果可以吃，還給我推薦哪家飯店好吃地道😋。房間很大，環境真的乾淨整潔，氛圍也很好，貓貓很親人的，地理位置也好，出門就有早點攤，很有煙火氣，住得很舒心，真是體驗最好的一次旅行了，下次如果有機會來還回來的！希望那個時候阿姨能認出我哈哈哈哈～
