Stayed 3 nights | Solo traveler The only positive aspect of this property is its convenient location. Please note that a late check-in fee applies if prior notice is not given, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking. The room on the first night was very different from the advertised photos. The condition was poor, with peeling wallpaper, giving the impression of a room under repair, and not suitable to be sold as accommodation. Fortunately, the staff assisted in changing my room, so I stayed there for only one night. The room on the following nights was in better condition and more in line with what was booked, suitable for a solo traveler. The most serious incident occurred when an older woman (whom I believe to be the property owner) entered my room without any prior notice or permission while I was getting dressed. Thankfully, my luggage was blocking the door. She then continued knocking persistently, and assuming it was an emergency, I opened the door. She entered the room with a maintenance worker to give instructions for repairs, without acknowledging me or respecting my privacy, and left after a brief apology. After this incident, the staff informed me that the door would be repaired, which I agreed to. I went out for the entire day and returned to the hotel around 1:00 AM. At that time, the key card did not function properly, and after briefly entering and exiting the room, the key card completely stopped working, leaving me unable to access my room. As it was late at night, I had to contact the staff and wait for quite some time before the issue was resolved. I was finally able to re-enter my room at approximately 1:38 AM. I would like to thank the staff member who eventually came to assist and resolved the issue. However, I was informed that luggage storage would be provided free of charge only if a “very good” review was posted on Google, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. Overall, this experience seriously compromised my privacy and sense of safety. The room is just enough for two people. The bed is not so big according to what is advertised. There is a shower heater. There is free disposable towel, soap and shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. The place is near to a lot of shopping places, MTR and bus stop going to Hong Kong International Airport.

+ great location in Kowloon + the staff was friendly and reasonably helpful + the common area was not big, but quite comfy and comparatively highly frequented by fellow travelers - the room/bed had a certain smell of disinfectant to it (no mosquitos or bugs at least, guess it was working) - the room could use renovation: slightly larger beds, a new coat of paint on the walls and de-griming the shower could do wonders... (pictures in other reviews suggest that some rooms are already in better condition than mine) - the toilets seem to not allow flushing down toilet paper, it goes into a waste basket instead, which is not uncommon in East Asia..., but this was a really small toilet and the basket was without a lid - no towels or slippers were provided (free of charge) Summary: reasonable budget hostel in a great location, but whose facilities could use some maintenance

The staff is very helpful.They update my Home.It's don't defend lead.The condition is very good and went to win it to go every few other who was small but it's very clean

We booked a quadruple room for our family of four, and it was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The place is conveniently located near MTR Exit A1, with lots of food options nearby. Ate May was very kind and assisted us throughout our entire stay. The reception is on the 5th floor while our room was on the 10th floor. There’s also a shared refrigerator and free water refill available on the same floor. Overall, we had a really good stay at Joyce House.

This place is incredible! I couldn’t be more happy to live in this place. The service here is the best. The woman at the reception treat every guests very well. The room is clean and tidy. It’s small but like all the rooms in tsim sha tsui, yet practical. The location is amazing! Three steps to get to mtr. Very convenient. They provide drinking water and WiFi and amenities. All ready to live. Very recommend!

正常情況晚七點才能入住，早上9點就要退房！熱水要晚八點才能開 半夜停掉。然後要早上8點才能再開熱水。很不方便。 入住時還要額外收清潔費和税費，説是攜程網上價格錯誤。退房後行李存放又要收三十。啊！

Very good value considering the price and how strategic is the location. Less than a minute walk to 7-11 and metro station, tons of restaurants nearby. The room is quite spacious better than what we expected, at least we can leave our luggages open wide and still able to walk lol, an affordable options for those who are not so picky about accommodation. A bit confusing to locate the building though, the entrance is just between the 7-11 and money exchange shop. Self check in and out, you need to call the owner to get access code so have simcard or mobile data ready so you can call them (phone or WhatsApp)

IGNORE ALL OTHER REVIEWS. fantastic for the price. great location. very friendly staff and they work very hard. they do more cleaning in a day than some hotels do in a month. bathrooms are a bit small, but this is Hong Kong. Area around is quiet enough and loads to do around the area. showers have complimentary soap and shampoo. considering the price, they really do give you as much as they can. I read many silly and unfair reviews for this place. They have been nothing but polite with me. Someone even accused them of ****** in other reviews but that's completely ridiculous. Another wrote they couldn't find it, but I found it from the metro in about 2 minutes. They are very hands on and try their best. 100% if I brought 2-3 friends to Hong Kong I'd definitely consider this place again.

The staff is very sweet and welcoming. The location is also very close to the station. The capsule is just perfect it has dim lights, charging ports, do not disturb signs and it’s super clean. The bathrooms have hair dryers, give you health kit. It’s just perfect. However, to store the luggage you need to what’s app them and pay 55 HKD via the link they sent.
