i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !

Hyvä paikka yksinäisille matkustajille. Yli pelkkä sänky se oli niin mukava, kotona elävä, jossa kaikki tuntevat osana pieni matkustajaperhe. Super turvallinen, todella tervetullut, ja paljon ystävällisiä kasvot ympäri. Jopa joutui jäähtyä ja keskustella omistajan kanssa hieman. Suosittelisit varmasti, jos tutkit itse.

Really sweet hostel (Clean, cosy and lovingly furnished), super friendly staff and good vibes! I stayed there sadly just for one night, but we were instant connected and in interesting talkings with the owner, staff and other guests on the sweet balcony - an oasis of plants, smooth light and cosy chairs in the middle of skyscrapers! Will not be my last time to stay there! Greetings from Germany 😏🖖

第一次來洛陽玩，隨便找的全女青旅，沒想到超出預期。位置在十字街這邊，離玩的地方不算遠，打車也方便。房間很乾凈，床品摸着舒服，沒有奇怪的味道。每個床位都有簾子、小燈和充電口，晚上玩手機也不影響別人。公共區域很安靜，大家都很自覺，不會吵。衞生間每天都有人打掃，熱水很足。老闆人挺好，問路線都耐心説，不會過度熱情，很舒服。學生黨價格真的友好，下次來還住這兒。

The location is just walking distance to Qing Ming Shang He Yuan. The 2 person room is quiet. However, the bunk bed is squeaking when the body is turning in the bed. The rooftop space is windy and nice for hangout at night.

Great hostel that provided a great base to explore Kaifeng. It’s nice and central to the Drum Tower market. There are nice public spaces. The dorm bed was very wide and very comfortable. The staff in particular were super. They were friendly and so helpful. They even allowed me to check in much earlier than I was meant to according to their rules - how kind of them. When I left one of them gave me a souvenir of some Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea to take with me. What lovely staff!

這家酒店真的很棒！房間寬敞明亮，佈置温馨舒適，床品柔軟親膚，讓人一覺好眠。服務也非常周到，前台和客房服務都讓人感到十分貼心。酒店地理位置優越，交通便利，附近餐飲和購物選擇眾多，是個出差旅遊的好選擇！

Location is wonderful, close to everything but als slightly o away from center so you do not get the noises. In just a few steps you get to have fantastic foods at night market. The place is nice and cozy, also quiet at night. Host is helpful, friendly and definitely extrovert, they organize games and activities regularly to connect everyone together. Definitely will stay here again if chances come by.
