Frankly at the price it charges and the fact that it's within a close range to the airport, my question is why not?
The lady there she even provides you with some breakfast.
Here's the thing, just as you arrive at the airport use either Uber or the official metered taxis. I got ripped off by the dude who says he drives an executive taxi and to get to the hostel (Hostel Lize) I paid 42 dollars whereas in reality ist is like 5 bucks. By the time you realize you are scammed it is too late as you are at the destination. Just a top for you...
But again the hostel, it makes sense to spend your night there.

Beside the cleaning that needs more work, the place is enjoyable.
Side note: we got some stuff stolen in the dorms, pants jackets and chocolates.. so maybe make sure you lock and hide everything.
Other than that the place is amazingly located, buses restaurants and shops are on the same street. Quite safe maybe during the day ( still be careful with the phone)

I had a pleasant quick stay at São Paulo Global Hostel. The location is excellent close to metro stations, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were welcoming and helpful. While the facilities are basic, the value for money is good. Ideal for travelers seeking a social environment in a central location.

We picked the hostel because of its proximity to the airport. On that front it did not disappoint. But the area of the hostel is very far from any activities in Guarulhos let alone São Paulo. Although with uber that problem cube solved easily. But I would recommend the hostel rather for short layovers.
The rooms were small (again better for layover than lengthy stay) but clean. At night the ACs can be quite loud (the one in front of our room was but the others not) but we addressed that so hopefully that is no issue for you.
Somehow the Trip.com booking did not make its way to the hostel which I found out because I wanted to book an extra day. Trip.com coud not fix it but the communication with the hostel went really well and the organized it with me directly.

Excelente atendimento e ótima localização! Tive um pequeno problema com a reserva (pedi um quarto com TV e me foi dado um sem), porém solucionado imediatamente. Com relação ao custo é ótimo, preço maravilhoso. Praticamente de frente a estação de metrô Borba Gato (o que facilita muito o transporte de um lado para o outro).
Recomendo e voltaria novamente.

LLady KwenadiPinheiros Hostel is a great option for budget-conscious travelers. The location is excellent — right in a lively neighborhood with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. It’s very convenient for exploring the city.
The shower was one of the best parts of the stay — the water was hot with strong pressure, perfect after a long day out. Breakfast was good and filling, with enough variety to start the day right.
Another plus was the Wi-Fi, which worked well throughout the hostel. Whether checking emails, planning the day, or making calls, the connection was reliable.
For the price, it offers great value for money with a few solid comforts that really make a difference during your stay.

KKarolina_MartinaIt was an incredible experience. I’ve managed to make many friends there. Hosts were so helpful and understanding and they spoke English fluently. VVieraskäyttäjäI planned to stay for 1 night but because I felt so comfortable I was staying 3 more nights. The service is very nice and the receptionists and owner are very very friendly. I felt like home. Moreover everything was very clean even if you use the shared bathroom.
