"We stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD. This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself. While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well. One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight! During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda. With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots. The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils. Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again."

"Hyvä hotelli kylpylässä keskimääräisillä palveluilla.  Huone oli puhdas, puhdas ja tuntui uudelta.  Mutta henkilökunta ei tunne englantia, ei edes puhu Mandariinia. Käyttää kääntäjä huono äänen syöttö oli hankala ja joskus se tulkitsi vääriä merkityksiä. Huonepalvelua, jos menee, ei tarjota uudelleen tuona päivänä. Lisäksi oli monia kylpyhuoneen vierailijoita vain makaamassa kylpyhuoneen lattialla.  Miesten kylpyhuoneen osia rakennettiin ja yhtenä yönä ei ollut 40 astetta Celsius tai korkeampi uima-allas, koska ne kaikki oli puhdistamassa samaan aikaan. Paikallinen kylpyhuone oli hyvin liukuinen, lähinnä siksi, että monet vierailijat eivät suutneet pestä itseään hyvin kun käyttivät ilmastointilaitetta. Aamiainen buffet on hyvä ruokavalio ja ympäristö, mutta en pidä ruoanlaittoista munista, jotka olivat kovin maukasta."

"The location is great, close to a nice river, next to subway station, also there is a family mart right next to the hotel, making it very convenient to fetch some late evening snacks. However, the window in the room cannot be opened, not even tiny bit for fresh air, the air gets uncomfortable when stay longer. We asked the front desk and they told us that all windows can’t be opened in this hotel but we saw from the outside that some windows do stay open, which is a litte bit disappointing."

"Best hotel that I have stayed in Osaka. Larger than other hotels. However, the closest JR station is about 8 mins walk. This is the only issue I had. Other than that, everything else is good. BTW, the price on Saturdays is like 2-3 times more than weekdays."

"I had a wonderful stay at Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. Everything about this hotel was excellent—from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the high level of service provided by the staff. The facilities are well maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail felt carefully considered. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, which truly enhanced the overall experience. The only minor downside is that the hotel is a little far from the city center. However, transportation is still convenient, and the peaceful location can actually be a plus for guests who prefer a quieter environment away from the crowds."

"Overall is highly recommended. Location is good but not easy to find as the google map doesn’t work in Osaka station, we been lost for few times. Easily to reach shopping mall without go out, all is linked and easy to walk around. I was planning to go Umeda sky building, however i get to stay in 26 floor in the hotel. So i guess i have the same view. Sharing you all the view from my room, luckily i got the sunset room. I guess will be back for my next trip if the price is reasonable. The toilet is dark because the colour of wall is black. There is a guest meeting room on lower floor but it open from 10am to 10pm. It close too early and open too late. I am unable to use it."

"Newly opened hotel so it's clean and facilities are nice. Body towel, face towel, pajamas, room slippers, hair dryer, and plastics are provided. There's a sento, sauna, and a gym. Facilities are separated by gender. Easy checkin and checkout. Hotel is easy to find via Google Maps. JR Hanwa Line and Osaka Metro Midosuji Line are close by so that's easy access to the airport (one transfer but no need to change platforms) and central Osaka. Not a touristy location so it's peaceful, not many shops around, but there are restaurant options nearby. There's also a 7/11 beside the hotel. Would stay again."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. In particular, the room was spacious and clean, the free drinks in the afternoon were nice, and the onsen included a sauna, which I used daily. Check in and check out were quick, and staff were professional. The location is very close to Ebisucho station, which meant easy transportation to the KIX airport. There is also Tennoji Park nearby, which is great for a stroll."

"The location is excellent ,right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. There is a FamilyMart directly across the street, which is very convenient. The hotel is located just behind Fendi, with Lululemon right opposite. If you go shopping and get tired, it’s very easy to return to the hotel to drop off your bags and head out again. However, there are a few downsides. The hotel is quite dark overall, and there is no daily cleaning service. Towels are not replaced unless you specifically request it. Overall, this hotel is perfect for shopping and convenience, but if you prefer brighter rooms or daily housekeeping, you may want to consider this before booking."
