Location is great as it is in the shopping area. Our butler Moon made us feel welcome and attended to all our needs. Highlight was the Storm Spa and the half hour photography session where the photographer communicates with us using gestures as we don't speak Chinese. Overall a good stay for anyone visiting Chongqing on vacation

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel which is well located right above Jiefangbei. The hotel is located in Xinhua International building which has several different hotels on different floors. Close proximity within walking distance to Jiaochangkou and Lingjiangmen metro station. Lots of shops, malls, restaurants, street food and night markets around the hotel. Very convenient location and you can walk to Hongya Cave from the hotel. Room is clean and high floor (we were on level 46) with a great view of the Jiefangbei pedestrian street downstairs. There is a projector tv in the room.There is no laundry room but u can pay CNY48 for unlimited laundry service (wash and dry) by the hotel. Just drop off and pick up your clothes from the hotel reception after the laundry is done. Much more convenient than self service laundry. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

My stay at this Chongqing hotel was absolutely incredible you will not want to leave once you check in the location is perfect right next to Raffles City with the Chaotianmen subway station directly downstairs making it so easy to get around and Hongyadong and Jiefangbei are just a short walk away stepping into the room
I was blown away by the view through the floor to ceiling windows you see the actual meeting point of the two rivers during the day the river traffic is fascinating and at night the city lights up creating that magical 8D feeling Chongqing is famous for the room itself is a spacious loft with brand new amenities including a huge bathtub and a giant projector screen after a long day of exploring it is pure bliss to soak in the tub while gazing at the night skyline the service was also top notch with a one on one butler style attention that responded quickly to any request they even recommended a fantastic local hotpot spot nearby that did not disappoint in short if you want to experience the ultimate night view and convenience in Chongqing just book this place without hesitation.

Huone oli erittäin mukava ja tilava Vastaanoton henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, varsinkin nro 4. Saavuin ennen sisäänkirjautumisaikaa ja he antoivat minun kirjautua sisään aikaisin, kiitos paljon. Kaiken kaikkiaan se oli erittäin hyvä kokemus ja sijainti on myös erittäin hyvä. Palaan tähän hotelliin uudelleen, se on erittäin kustannustehokas. Se ei ole kuin olisi toimistorakennuksessa. Tarvitset huonekortin päästäksesi yläkertaan. Ainoa haittapuoli on, että huoneiden välinen äänieristys ei ole kovin hyvä, kuulet, jos viereinen ovi on liian kova.

The hotel is really well located. You are just one elevator up away from the Kuixing Building (22nd floor of the hotel) which is a big plus!! The only con was the elevator, they make no sense and waiting times are long, just don’t be in a rush to leave. Reception was accommodating and upgraded us to a bigger room. Thank you!

Lovely hotel with 100% customer service!
I have never encountered customer service like Aspera’s. They helped me with my online purchases receipts as well as returns. In addition to that, they have been helpful with any requests, never failed to deliver all our requests.
I was delighted with the birthday surprise arranged by the team! It was very very elaborate, definitely was a big surprise.
I always missed the afternoon tea, but the team always replaces the tea set with fruits for me!

Ambience: The entire hotel is beautifully designed with great taste and style. The atmosphere is fantastic, and everything is impeccably clean.

The hotel is very centrally located. Right next to the metro station, literally at its entrance. There is a large mall next to it, many shops and restaurants. The girls at the reception did not speak English, but they had translators and our communication went smoothly. They helped us with advice on what to see and how to get there. There is nothing more to be desired. They were always on line and were very nice! Our stay was perfect!

HHapppiestAbsolutely amazing experience at Regent Hotel. We arrived in the early hours exhausted. Greeted warmly by the bell boy and immediately assisted us with the luggage. Swift check-in, our luggage were already in our room before we know it. Our room has fantastic view of the river and Hongyadong, even when in the bethtub the view is amazing. The room attendant kept our room neat and sparkling clean everyday. Their laundry service is top-notch, less than 3mins of calling the help desk the house keeping attendant is at our door step to pick up our laundry and also to return the clean ones. Not forgetting to mention the spread of the breakfast, delish!!! Definitely will choose Regent Hotel if we ever go Chongqing again.

I had a wonderful stay at UrCove by Hyatt Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Area Hong Ya Dong. The room was very spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall amenities provided were excellent and thoughtfully prepared.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always eager to assist with any request, which made the stay even more pleasant. The location is fantastic — easy to find and perfectly situated for exploring the area.
I had read some comments about the elevators being slow since the building is shared by two hotels, but during our two-night stay we never had to wait long for an elevator at all.
Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

BBuzz WTJust had an awesome stay at Moxy Chongqing! Booked a 4-bunk room for 3 adults and it exceeded expectations. Room was spotless, toilet had an auto bidet 💦, and the shower area was huge - perfect for 3 of us, with plenty of hot water! Location is unbeatable, smack in the middle of Jiefangbei. Checked in with Nico Fu, top-notch service! Quick, friendly, and sorted us out with an extra breakfast for free when we needed it. Highly recommend!

VVieraskäyttäjäOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard.

Ddimych1969I give the hotel a solid 10 for its location. You can easily walk to all the famous locations around. Our room was on the 29th floor, which was an added bonus. In the evening, you can enjoy a fantastic view of part of the city, although many buildings turn off their lights at 10 p.m.
The cleaning is always different, it seems to depend on the staff change. Sometimes they would remake the bed, change the slippers and towels, and sometimes they would shake our bedspread and put it back on top, crumpled. Once, I asked the receptionist about the TV remotes and the loose-fitting door to our room. They simply replaced the batteries and suggested placing a cloth between the door and the frame to prevent it from swinging.
I didn't like this moment. On the website Trip.com in the description of the hotel, it is indicated that there is an assistance service for buying tickets to different locations. When we asked about this, we were simply led to an employee of the travel agency with all the consequences. In many cities of China, in other hotels, the staff really helped us buy tickets through We Chat
If it weren't for minor issues, I would rate this hotel as excellent, with a prime location.

We were elderly couple travellingg in China on our own and did not have a China hp nos. Realising our situation, one of the hotel staff , Miss小周 linked her Wechat contact to mine. In case we need help outside the hotel we can contact her for help 24/7. How wonderful!
The hotel is centrally located, room was clean and well kept though a little dated. Breakfast has very good spread. Overall, this hotel is value for money. Staff were polite, helpful and efficient. We will definitely choose this hotel during our future trip to Chongqing.

This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt.
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful.
Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out.
That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience.
The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay.
However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast.
The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype...
In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome, but a special mention must go to Mia, who went above and beyond to help us. She assisted extensively with organising our transport to the airport and took care of our luggage with such efficiency and warmth – it made our departure stress-free.
The hotel itself is in a great location, convenient for exploring the area, and perfect for families. Travelling as a family of five from Australia, we often find it challenging to get the right level of service and space, but Maiyue Hotel ticked all the boxes. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff genuinely cared about our stay.
