Sijainti on minulle tärkein motivaattori palata aikoja ja aikoja myöhemmin. Se on Peopls's Squaren metroaseman uloskäynnin 5 tai 19 kohdalla ja Bundiin johtavan Nanjiang Road Walkwayn alun vieressä. Yhdistetty 新世界城 ostoskeskukseen, jossa on paljon ravintoloita, elokuvateatteri ja Madame Tussaud -museo. Palvelut ovat erinomaisia ​​- täytyy kehua henkilökuntaa. We had some problems with lights and toilet in the room but was solved immediately. Exceptional service from all staff including housekeeping and also from the manager Shirley herself. She went out of the way to post me my jacket when I accidentally left it at the hotel. We enjoyed our room very much - great layout, spacious and we all loved the window sitting that provides views of the bund and the city. Most of our time was spent sitting next to the window enjoying the views while having our meals. The location of the hotel is very close to Nanjing road but also far enough so you can feel more relax vibes offered away from the hustled bustle of the main street. The staff at the front entrance was very helpful with our luggages and all staff always greets us whenever we enter or exit the hotel. Loved this hotel very much and thanks for making our stay so wonderful!

Huone oli mukava, ja sieltä oli hyvä näköala Oriental Pearl Towerille. Siisteys oli hyväksyttävää; sängyn alla oli pölyä ja seinillä oli mustia läikkiä, en tiedä olivatko ne hometta, mutta hajua ei ollut. Hotellin aula oli erittäin suuri, ja vastaanoton henkilökunta oli erittäin mukavaa.

Renaissance hotel never let us down, this one locates in the heart of New Pudong area, it’s reasonably close to Centre but less busy or crowded. It’s in a really beautiful area and gave you the aurar of luxury.  Hotel itself is beautiful, modern and most importantly, impeccably presented throughout. The front desk staff were very friendly and made us felt welcomed upon arrival. They then proceed to check us in promptly and most of our modest requests were met without any fuss - this is what 5* hotel is all about!  Once into the room we were again wow’d by the big, modern room and top notch facilities, we immediately knew we would have a great stay (which we did). The beddings were fresh and clean, towels, bath robe and slippers all provided in best conditions.  In the evening we checked out the swimming pool which our children loved (swimming hat required we had to purchase them at rmb100 each), following day before check out we all had great breakfast with a deal purchased via front desk. I’d say a huge thank you to Lynn and the front desk team whom checked us in and arranged everything we need for a wonderful time spent at the Renaissance Hotel, it will be my first choice next time I’m back in SH!  Ps, Lynn was so helpful even ordered takeaways for us since we don’t have local number (if you were to order uber type taxi, takeaway food etc you need to get a local sim) - the CS is out of this world good. And we got the automatic robot delivering them straight to our room

As a couple who has lived in Shanghai together for almost 10 years, with one of us also Shanghainese, we have been to a lot of the best places in Shanghai, and some of the more recommended places in about 20 cities in the broader nearby area. Nothing in the city or within several hours of high-speed rail compares to a stay at Ritz-Carlton Pudong. In Asia and indeed the planet, this impeccable hotel experience stands as an iconic example of old-world elegance and service. In addition, it also offers a unique view of both some of the most modern and tallest buildings and the city’s famed Bund riverside, home to a variety of art deco architectural masterpieces. We had the incredible good fortune to start our honeymoon at the Ritz in Pudong, and this last stay was our last honeymoon treat. As always, it was a spectacular experience that we cannot recommend enough. The most extraordinary part of the stay really is the staff, they are all world class people who go above and beyond to make the Ritz-Carlton Pudong such an exceptional institution in one of the world’s leading cities. Sincere thanks to the whole team for making this happen, including Cherryl, who made reservation delightfully effortless, Chris who helped us to our room, and Joey and Ruby who helped in the evening. Special and heartfelt thanks to the whole team who make the Club Lounge experience world beating: Eddie and Junita, who both lead by example, have a deep passion for the details that create excellence, as well as being just the nicest people. They are both incredibly inspiring leaders and professionals. Claire is generally excellent there but also was phenomenally helpful to get a bag back when it was left behind, we really apricated that. Jeramy and Vivian also are amazing, as are Club Lounge’s chef’s Joe and Austin. Sherry is a real star, attentive, sharp and so helpful. Last but not least, Helen, who was the first person to greet us after we got married, and fittingly the last person to help us create personalised room key cards with our wedding photo on it, and most recently a special photo of family from our honeymoon. Those keycards are really cool keepsakes, but making them is not as simple as you might think: the image is etched into the key, not printed, so the original photo needs to be translated by AI into an image that the etching system is capable of delivering, which is really impressive. When I showed my mom who lives very far away, even she was impressed with Helen’s work. Ordinarily we prioritise new experiences over more of the same, regardless of how comfortable and nice it is. But regardless of how hard we try, we have not been able to figure out a better way to celebrate our biggest moments than a stay at the Ritz in Pudong.

The hotel service is general thoughtful. We asked for medicated oil as my mum was not feeling well, but there wasn't one available. Instead of just saying no, the customer service offered to send us oil essence that would help to improve headaches and stress. And this really helped my mum to feel and sleep better. F&B service staff at Elements and Chinese restaurant were attentive and competent. Generally, we did enjoy our stay in this hotel. Pillows are comfortable and housekeeping always did a thorough job everyday. Views from our rooms are nice and we could see the light up at 6pm everyday. Check-in service could be improved. We had never been kept waiting to check-in before as every hotel we went to made sure the guests don't wait for too long. After waiting in the line for 30mins, I observed that the front desk needs to input alot of information for each guest. Maybe more efficient system and better process flow would help the staff and have less customers complaining. Everyone around was were dismayed by the waiting time. Note that whenever travellers arrive to check in, most are tired and burdened with baggage and want to settle down as soon as possible. Last thing we want is to queue for a long time to check in. Having mentioned that, I would like to give credit to the front desk staff. Despite the pressure from the sounds of grumpy guests waiting in the line, they still handled each guest professionally and attending to all the enquiries patiently. This is not easy. Also, your porter service could be improved also. There are more people standing at the concierge counter indoors, and usually only 1 outside. Which is something I don't understand. During our 4-day stay here, no one helped us at all. Even when we checked out, it was our driver who helped us with our bags. The bell boy chose to help another car who was checking in. Usually we tip bell boy but we had no chance to tip at all here. The corridor to the rooms are mostly carpeted so it is really difficult to drag our luggage. The lifts are spread out along two long rows and I have seen a lady dragging her luggage from one lift to the next lift, and then to the next one cursing because she could not reach each lift in time before the door closed. We felt tired too through our stay here, turning 360 degrees to look out for lift doors opening. We do recommend the hotel for a guaranteed comfortable stay here as it is near to many major shopping malls and attractions and restaurants.

Vauvan kanssa matkustaessani halusin mennä kävelykadulle ja Bundille. Halusin myös olla riittävän lähellä metroasemaa, ja minulla on hyvä näköala, mikä tärkeintä niitä. Alakertaan on kävelykatu, vain askeleen päässä mm Dousta. Vauva on erittäin onnellinen. Vaikka kylpyamme ei ole iso, riittää, että he kaksi käyvät kuumassa kylvyssä. Tämä hotelli määritteli sanan ”mukava” uudelleen. Huone ei ole ainoastaan puhdas ja siisti, vaan myös täynnä designia, ja jokainen nurkka paljastaa sydämen. Yönäkymä on vieläkin upeampi, aivan kuin koko kaupungin valot olisivat valaistu minulle. Henkilökunta on lämmintä ja ystävällistä, ja vastaanoton kiharatukkainen mies ja aulapäällikkö ovat erittäin huomaavaisia ja tarkkaavaisia, mikä saa minut tuntemaan kodin lämmön jopa vieraassa maassa. Olen jo aloittanut seuraavan vierailuni suunnittelun, ja suosittelen sitä ehdottomasti kaikille ympärilläni! Hyvää yötä puuro: naudanlihapuuro ja sämpylät tekivät meidät erittäin tyytyväisiksi.
