I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou. The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed. Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away.

Great location and just next to MIXC shopping centre. Spacious and clean room. The bed is the firm type but still comfortable. Love Byredo toiletries. The electrical bidet was not operating well but was fixed the next day when the room service cleaned and tidied the room. The common corridors and some of the communal toilet have no airconditioning which makes the place very stuffy and warm. Hopefully, the hotel management can relook into their ESG strategies and find a balance between hotel guest comfort level and their ESG goals. Understand that this is a hotel for holiday purpose, so there is no business centre. I went to the lobby area to use my laptop. The hotel reception staff was very kind to provide blanket and water as I was working late throughout the night. My stay included breakfast buffet which is passable. Love the fresh fruit juice and the honey comb. The conceirge service staff Rachel was exceptionally helpful to provide recommendations on place to visit and to assist me with the restaurants reservation, purchase ferry tickets to Gulangyu and booking for Nantuo Temple.

Coupl We had a fantastic stay at the Kempinski and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The hotel is perfectly located, with a stunning view of the lake, which was especially enchanting at night. Watching the moonlight dance on the water while relaxing at the hotel was truly magical. The staff were so warm and accommodating, but we’d like to give a special mention to Scott. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and his friendly nature really made us feel at home. Breakfast was a real treat. The buffet had a great variety of options, and we were always excited to see what was on offer each morning. We particularly loved the apple oatmeal – it became a must-have for us during our stay! One of the highlights of the trip was strolling around the lake together. It was so peaceful and refreshing, and the scenic walk added such a lovely touch to our mornings. All in all, our stay at Kempinski was perfect. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and grateful for the amazing service and beautiful surroundings. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch service and views to match!

Highly recommended. New hotel everything was so great, sound proof of the room was superb can't hear any door slamming from other rooms. Had a comfortable stay. Walking distance to tourist spot, shopping mall with McDonald's

There’s a link way to the park with jogging track and river view. One can begin the day with a refreshing walk. The hotel is location at a serene spot. We are upgraded to a bigger room with splendid view, where we managed to catch the beautiful sunrise. The hotel staff are all very attentive and helpful. We appreciate all the details included to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We even could request for special pillow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Strongly recommended.

Nothing to complain as it's well maintained/efficient and is your standard 5 star hotel (with a view of the Jinjiang River fireworks on NYE). Perhaps we were biased coming from Kaipuu Belfry which was located in West Street so while Intercontinental was also about a 25 minutes pleasant walk from the estuary Harbor sites (Zhenwu Temple / WenxingGong) which are also UNESCO sites , nothing beats the location of the former hotel! Aesthetically, we were not fans of the multi color lighted facade at night but that's just a personal preference. Special mention to Fay of the front desk for good service.

I recently stayed at Lujiang Harbourview Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The hotel has a quaint charm — the room was decorated with a lovely olden-day, vintage feel, yet it was very comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, with both buffet options and à la carte dishes. We especially enjoyed sampling some of Xiamen’s local specialties. Another pleasant surprise was the daily complimentary hi-tea served at the 1958 Lobby Bar — a wonderful touch that made our afternoons extra enjoyable. The location is simply unbeatable. The start of Zhongshan Pedestrian Street is right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring. I spent two full days wandering around the area. 八市街 is also just around the corner, offering plenty of delicious local food options. A special shout-out to staff member 张春燕, who went above and beyond in helping us. When we were unable to book ferry tickets through WeChat as foreigners, she kindly used her personal phone to help us secure them. Truly exceptional service — 5 stars for her! Overall, Lujiang Harbourview Hotel gave us a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Xiamen.

We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms.

Spectacular, everything was amazing, unique experience, spectacular view, huge room but the island view was special. Words cannot describe it's pointless to write. Unique view in the whole world and I have seen quite a few views but this one is far the best. Not crowded, winter time, off season, feeling is like in a movie Hot tub, coffee maker with capsules, walk in wardrobe, huge bathroom, warm toilet seat Cannot recommend enough the experience of staying there And evening the lights from the other twin tower are something else. Just make sure you take photos before 10pm because then they turn them off.
