Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away.

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding this booking I made through your platform for a stay at the Paramount Hotel, New York. At the time of booking, there were no clearly disclosed additional charges mentioned. It was only shortly before my departure — upon reviewing my booking — that I noticed unexpected fees applied by the hotel. I contacted Trip.com immediately, hoping for clarification, but unfortunately, your team was unable to explain why these charges were not made transparent at the point of booking. I was simply informed that the charges had been presented during the booking process. Regrettably, I did not take a screenshot of the booking page to prove otherwise. Given the proximity to my travel date and not wanting to face the inconvenience of finding another hotel at short notice, I had no choice but to proceed with the reservation and absorb the additional charges — which I had not budgeted for. This experience was disappointing and stressful. The lack of pricing transparency is both misleading and unfair to customers, especially when traveling to a different country. It caused unnecessary anxiety and could have been easily avoided with clearer communication at the point of booking. I urge Trip.com to review how hotel fees and additional charges are displayed, and to ensure that customers are fully informed before confirming their reservations. That said, I would like to acknowledge that the actual stay at the Paramount Hotel was pleasant. The hotel is well-located — just a few steps away from Times Square and Broadway theatres. The New York City subway system is very accessible from the property and is a far better option than taxis or e-hailing services due to heavy traffic. While the hotel is an older property and the elevators can be slow during peak times, it offers charm and convenience. There’s a great pizza spot next door, and live music in the lobby bar on some nights adds a nice touch. I hope Trip.com will take this feedback seriously and make improvements to ensure a more transparent and customer-friendly experience in the future.

Most of the staff is off the charts helpful. There was one staff member that made me feel very uncomfortable and like I was a bother to have there

Good location and there is Walmart and McDonald by walking distance.

We stayed for 3 nights during thanksgiving weekend. The hotel was in an okay location, near the Bull at Wallstreet and subway - the bus didn’t work most of the times during the holidays. Rooms are clean. However, everything else is a disappointment. The service was average - people aren’t the friendliest here. The elevator took forever - we waited for 20 mins and didn’t seem like the elevator was going to come anytime soon. Ended up walking down the stairs with all our luggages from the 30th floor. The amenities doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel, it was so underwhelming. Aside from the basic ones like shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion, they didn’t give us anything else. There’s no bottled water too, even when we asked. The toilet door doesn’t slide close, there’s a big gap in between which was very bothersome to us. Last thing, if you’re sensitive to noise, you’re going to have a problem because the rooms are not soundproofed at all. We could hear babies crying, people talking pretty loudlu

Shabby and rundown hotel, simple breakfast with muffin as the main course. Additionally, the sound proofing in the rooms we're extremely poor as we could hear the sounds of our neighbours resulting in bad sleep. On the other hand rhe location was great as it was next to the highway and the enormous mall with attractions rhat will keep you entertained for days.

We had an amazing time I went with my sister for my 52th Birthday. Everyone at the resort was great, and the best part is its location. You can actually walk to Canada from the hotel! It’s less than a 30 minute walk to the border, but make sure you bring your passport and a few quarters for the bridge toll back to the USA, which is only $1.25.  The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service and were impressed with the quick delivery and beautiful presentation. The resort also offers several dining options, a full casino, a spa, and a pool, making it a well- rounded destination whether you’re there to relax or explore.
