The hotel is nece and has a good breakfast. We did not use the pool but seemed pleasent. The location is fantastic and having parking in the city is also. Plus even though it won't be enough for everyone. Right by the river for a nice walk.
What I would change is removing the carpet from rooms. Ours had stains which doesn't give you the best impression of clean.

Hotel location is great, right in the center.
Room is a bit outdated, but clean.
Parking is free.
Breakfast is simple but ample, come with scrambled eggs and bacon's, cornflakes and different breads.
Rception staff was helpful

Hotel, com um ar requintado, quarto confortável e ótimo pequeno almoço.
No entanto, o facto de não possuírem vários tamanhos de almofada considero ser uma falha a corrigir. Um facto que pode condicionar uma boa noite de sono.

A little out of the way. VERY steep climb to the hotel - taxi needed unless you are very fit. Fine walking down.
Hotel was spotless couldn't fault it at all.
Slight issue with tea & coffee in the room. Couldn't plug kettle in without it being on the floor - could maybe do with a small table near the plug??
Only 1 normal tea bag and 1 fruit t bag for 2 people staying. Had to ask for extra t bags, spoon and milk-wasn't supplied in the room.
Breakfast was good-not a massive choice but what was there was very high quality and was replenished regularly.
The hotel it self was affiliated with a restaurant in town which we went to twice-amazing food and service.
Staff were very helpful-great hotel would definetely recommend and stay again.

Супер комфортный отель, отличное дружелюбное обслуживание, классные завтраки со свежими фруктами! Единственный минус - бассейн работает только с июня, мы не знали об этом.

VVieraskäyttäjäVidago Palace Hotel is very easy to access by expressways. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are large and well-renovated. The hotel has a beautiful balcony and pretty gardens.
The dinner there had a good choice of food, and the wine list is pretty extensive, and expensive.
Worth a visit even if is not cheap for Portuguse standars.

The only negative is there’s no parking and you can’t get the car loaded/unloaded at the front of the hotel. Parking is on the street where it isn’t easy to find a spot

Warning!!! Check the road before coming because Google Maps isn’t accurate and drove us through some dirt roads.

UUK1975Fantastic hotel. Everything that you need is here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms spotless. Breakfast is of high quality products and plenty to choose from. Staff are helpful and friendly.
