Hotellit mukavuudella Aamiainen maassa Portugali, provinssissa Madeira

Kuten saatat kysyä, miten vierailuni meni, tiedäthän, ettemme menneet Madeiraan. Tein virheen päivämäärien kanssa; halusin sen maaliskuulle, en helmikuulle, ja vastauksesi oli EI. En varaa mitään muuta Trip.comin kautta. Ei mitään Hotel Baleiraa vastaan. Suuret kiitokset Patricialle, joka teki kaikkensa. Kiitos.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, hyvä siisteys, erittäin yksinkertainen mutta herkullinen aamiainen. Huone tielle päin: Valitettavasti lauantaina Zarco-baarista kuului erittäin kovaa musiikkia kello 2.00 asti, minkä vuoksi nukkuminen oli erittäin epämukavaa, vaikka ikkunat olivat kiinni. Baarin sulkeuduttua paikalliset pitivät paljon meteliä tiellä kello 3.00 asti (puhuivat kovaa, nauroivat, huusivat jne.).

Whilst arriving at the Don Pedro past midnight on the 22nd of June we were gasping for a cup of tea lovely kettle and cups in the room but no teabags upon asking at Reception no none available anyway just a suggestion it would be good to have a couple in the room for arrival, thank you

Henkilökunta on kaikki erittäin ystävällistä, mutta tilat ovat perustason. Huoneessa ei ole tossuja, nenäliinoja, shampoota, hoitoainetta, vartalosaippuaa tai käsisaippuaa. Lisäksi, vaikka olen nainen, minulla on ensimmäisessä kerroksessa huone, jonka näen uima-altaalta, ellen sulje verhoja, ja minun on kannettava matkalaukkuni portaita ylös. En halua sanoa mitään pahaa henkilökunnasta, koska he olivat ystävällisiä minulle, mutta minusta tuntuu, että he voisivat tehdä vähän enemmän. Halusin vain mennä lautalla, joten valitsin lauttaterminaalia lähinnä olevan hotellin.

Tässä hotellissa on paljon enemmän potentiaalia kuin sen johto hyödyntää. Se voisi helposti parantaa asiakaspalvelua ja nostaa tasoaan. En pidä sitä neljän tähden hotellina, vaan pikemminkin kolmen tähden hotellina. Sen pitäisi vain parantaa siisteyttä (löysimme kaksi torakkaa kylpyhuoneestamme!!!), uima-altaan ja yleisten tilojen kalusteita/laitteita sekä huoneiden viimeistelyä, kuten ovia ja huonekaluja. Sillä on potentiaalia jopa viiden tähden hotelliksi, mutta se on todellakin kolmen tähden hotelli. Henkilökunta on ammattitaitoista ja ratkaisi kaikki ongelmamme, mutta he ansaitsevat myös paremmat olosuhteet.

This was a very decent and affordable hotel — nothing fancy or luxurious, but it covers the basics quite well. It’s clean, efficient, and does the job for travelers looking for a simple place to stay. One of the best surprises was that if you’re lucky enough to get a room with ocean views, it really adds a lot of value to the overall experience. That said, there were some clear drawbacks. The room itself felt extremely tight, especially for two people with a couple of suitcases. There was very limited space to move around, which made things feel a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also quite small, and while functional, it lacked the comfort you’d hope for in a multi-day stay. One highlight was the balcony. Though the interior space was tight, the room had a good-sized balcony where we enjoyed golden hour and sunset views — that part was genuinely lovely and added a sense of openness and relaxation we didn’t get inside the room. The most significant downside for me was the parking situation. The hotel only has three official parking spots, which are always full. Given the area is busy and surrounded by in-demand places like grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and a laundromat, street parking is very limited and expensive. I had to park at a nearby garage, which cost 10 euros overnight. As for the rooftop, the amenities there weren’t particularly impressive — nothing that would stand out compared to more upscale hotels. But once again, the ocean and sunset views from the rooftop are stunning and give you a brief illusion of being at a five-star resort. All in all, this hotel offers good value for money, especially if you’re not planning to spend too much time in the room. It’s a solid base for exploring the area, as long as you’re okay with a few compromises in comfort and convenience.

Este hotel está muy lejos de las 4 estrellas que presenta. Quizás hace 20 años le correspondían, pero a día de hoy presenta las instalaciones antiguas, la habitación estaba limpia pero muy desgastada. Incluso la tarima del suelo, hasta los azulejos del baño desgastados.

Cool Ronaldo/football themed hotel. Staff were excellent, rooms - modern and quiet. The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk to the city life. You get a free ticket to CR7 museum with your stay (worth €5).

У отеля удобное расположение в старом городе. Да, это не на побережье, но в этом есть свое удобство. До набережной минут 7 ходьбы. Завтраки отличные, много фруктов (папайя, бананы, ананас и т.д.). В честь Дня рождения порадовали бутылкой игристого.
