I had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, with fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the private onsen it was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. Everything was perfect, and I truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended!

The hosts were friendly and the young female assistant was helpful and polite. Location is great, near to the well-known fall and the lake is in front of the residence. Private onsen facilities are great though they are not available in the morning. Foods provided are in Western style and they are good, but not that great. Guests are reminded to tell the hosts on how to cook the steak, especially if well-done is not their preference. No elevator but many steps means you have to have strong muscle to move the heavy buggages from the car to the room.

Splendid lobby on 13/F with best view in the town, convenient parking facility connecting to the hotel at a reasonable price ¥1,100 overnight, close to shops and train station, buffet breakfast with quality. Just need to ask for coffee set at reception, not provided in room and only have chopsticks in restaurant.

駅前なので最高の立地です。 一階は広くておしゃれなバル、ビストロ？みたいな感じ。朝食付きにするとここで食べるんでしょうか？朝早くからやってました。 フロントは2階だけどいわゆるホテルのフロント感はまったくなし。スタッフの方は外国籍の方かもしれませんが丁寧で一流のホテルマン感ありました。 部屋はシャワーしかないですがお風呂につかりにきたわけじゃないので問題なし。 充電がコンセントだけでなくUSBとタイプCがあったり、そのすぐ下にスマホ置けるスペースがあったりで、センスが秀逸と感じました。 こういうコンセプト素敵です。 また泊まりたいです。 駐車場はないので近くのパーキングに有料で停めることになります。

Convenient place just across Tobu Nikko station. For one night we had all we needed in our twin room, which was like a studio: private bathroom, kitchen corner with microwave, kettle, sink and fridge (no kitchen amenities), balcony with view. Heating and heated blanket did their job in the cold night. There’s a Supermarket and a Laundry service close by. The hotel needs for sure some maintenance and insulation can be improved as it was very cold. The only way to get to upper floors is by elevator, as I tried using the stairs but they were blocked by piles of sheets, which is not ideal as there should be emergency exits! Not really a budget accommodation compared to other places I stayed in Japan and for the standard offered.

Standard exterior and interior design of Fairfield Hotels in all around Japan, that is guest friendly and more sustainable, no gym, restaurant and bar but you can cook frozen food by microwave. Room is not big but good enough for sleeping and rest. Their idea is offering rest place for people likes hiking and natural trails.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was nice and comfortable. The location is 1 block from the station. Best of all was the breakfast. Amazing selection of both western and Japanese food. It was delicious!!! I will definitely book here again.

Location was very convenient, at the the train station. We took bullet train from Tokyo, to Osaka and to Tokyo. Close to shopping streets and dinning areas.

Great experience at the Tobu Grande Hotel! It is ideally located, next to all of the cities main attraction and interesting points. Bus and metro stop is close by, as well as convenience stores. The room was more spacious and equiped as I initially thought, which was a pleasant surprise! The Grill Restaurant staff and food were also exceptional. Overall, I can only recomment staying at this hotel for a trip to Utsunomiya
